Can you not get their names search them and then send them direct messages on another platform ? .Commenting will work to get their attention too just as long as you are not spamming but adding value. .

If you are sending promotional material they didn't request, it may well be viewed as 'spam'.

I don't know how YouTube views this - but I resent it when I join an online platform and start receiving solicitations from people I don't know and didn't sign up to hear from.

Whatever the reason, if you're talking about sending bulk unrequested promotional emails, that's a pretty good definition of spam.

Do these people want to promote your art clothing in the first place? And why are you targeting them on YouTube? 90% of the time that's spam.

Heck if you send me a similar message here on WF, I'd spam you right away.

How are you in marketing if you don't know how to target your audience without using spammy techniques?

It's 'marketing 101'...... place ads where THOSE people will see them and DRAW them to your offers. Advertise where artists gather online or in trade journals.

Do you personally know any artists? "Street artists" and 'hobby artists' would probably be your best target. Professional artists not so much IMO.

Another possibility is to find some 'art' that you believe would reproduce/sell well...and then approach THAT artist about rights to reproduce that particular piece of art.

No influencer has ever reached out to me on any platform by sending me an unsolicited private message.

No influencer would ever do that.

Nothing like what you are proposing.

    ---------------

What is 'art clothing'??? Artists I know would be insulted to be offered a chance to put their art on a tshirt. Then again, if that is what they wanted to do it's easy to use print-on-demand and not split 50/50 with anyone. Is there a market for your idea in the first place?

Sending unsolicited emails is not a plan that is likely to work for you. That is what members here are saying - but what you do is up to you.

Simplify your approach: do a google search for... art clothing ....then dig into the results to see how they display the art, how they appeal to their audience, how they build a list (if they do)....and how they attract customers. Might also be info on how to attract artists as well.

How does your site and your offer compare to those sites? What keywords/phrases/content do they use? What platforms do they sell on? What are their legal terms of use and who holds the copyright?

I was not advising you to become 'an influencer' - just pointing out that is NOT what are doing by sending unsolicited emails.
