Social media posting ideas

Sometimes it's quite hard figuring out what content to post on social media, so we're sharing with you 5 killer content ideas to share with your audience.
  • Behind the scenes. Perhaps you can share what's going on in your office, behind the scenes.
  • Memes. Nothing beats sharing laughable memes that go viral.
  • Throwback Thursday and/or Flashback Friday. If you're feeling nostalgic, you can share something you posted 4-5 years ago, or perhaps a very old photo from your archives.
  • Limited coupon codes. You can give away discount coupon codes to a limited number of customers (first 100, for example).
  • Answer FAQs. These can help clear up any confusions, and answer common questions that your customers will probably ask.

great ideas!!! I also like to post questions to engage my public in the conversation, for example you can ask something simple but very important to them like their pet's name, it works!

    Thanks for the info

    Memes are almost always

It's crazy how much Social Media has really blown up. Especially Facebook organic these past few years. I've recently looked into creating content in batches, as well as creating content templates. It's so much easier to create more content on days where I feel creative, and it seems popular posts always have a similar format to them.

It seems there's an unlimited number of ways to do this. Thanks again

A "trick" I use... share anything and everything related to a niche you are in... anything and everything BUT a sales pitch.

If you are a Real Estate agent... quick posts like 5 things to increase curb appeal, or trendy paint colors, or renovations that increase your homes value.

A gardener... How to plant a specific plant... post about good looking plant combinations. How to treat your soil during different times of the year... Pre season tilling etc, pre planting, end of season clean up, winterizing.

Weight loss... recipes, exercises, quotes, share links to the insanity that is Goggins, down to how to get started... 10 push ups a day

Making money online... if you have a product... KNOW the product... share cheat sheets and ways to deal with time management, success quotes, share lists of things successful people do.

The idea of content is to create content that #1 is worth reading, #2 that people will come back to read more of, and #3 develops YOUR authority on the subject.

Instead of content that is BUY BUY BUY.. it should be more like Inform Inform Inform, then ask for the buy. A book that explains this, is Gary Vaynerchucks Jab Jab Jab, Right Hook.

And just like this post, I gave and gave and gave, and then softly asked for you to look at a book to buy... ( absolutely no affiliation btw - its just a good book ) I gave you a reason to go look at the book. I provided a sense of Authority, I know what I am talking about. THIS is what you need to strive for with Social Media content

      You are on fire lately!

That is spot on. Exactly what would pull me in as well.

We really have to control our first impulses for immediate results/conversions and create fans of our content.

Even spotting something someone else is doing great and highlighting that success is great content others can leverage.

Thanks for sharing this, truth to be told, it's often very hard to find new ideas and make something that will look unique and original. Ideas about behind the scenes posts, throwback Thursday or flashback Friday seem pretty interesting to me, and I haven't see too many of these posts, so I will try it out for sure.

Each social media platform will work better with a certain type of content. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to content, so you will want to optimize your social media strategy by picking the right type of content for your audience. Once you start experimenting with different types of content, you will notice what works, and then focus your efforts on things that are most engaging and beneficial to your brand.

Apart from Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, there are 1000's of other social media platforms which really confuses. Not sure if the other social media sites really help in internet marketing. Can someone throw some light on this. Do we really need to be active on all these platforms to promote our sites.

What are these "1000's of other social media platforms"? MySpace? Friendster? Multiply?

I see alot of Face, Face, Face Face on Instagram very boring. We all have faces and we all have wardrobes.

We see interesting things all the time we just do not realize it would make great content.

Also when you are looking a long time for the perfect stock photo and can not find it....create it and sell it.

I think you have to have 3 types of posts on your social media. For example, Instagram.
    1) This is an educational post. For example, "how to set up ads" or "5 useful things in marketing".
These should be posts that users will want to keep.
    2) This is a news post. This should be information about some big event that's happening in the world right now. In this case your post will be shared.
    3) It's a personal life post. For example, a photo of your family, a vacation in the forest, or a trip to Grandma's farm. Such posts should evoke emotions. It's necessary for the likes.
    4) A discussion post. There should be some idea, opinion or fact of your life. The text in this post should be finished with a question.
    It's necessary for comments.
Of course, it would be great if every 2 or 3 posts would contain a video.
As you may noticed, every type of post should be finished with some kind of interaction with your target audience.
This is important for your ranking, level and number of subscribers.
