Facebook page any use without advertising?

Hello all. I have a facebook page with 2k followers that I build some years back when my posts were actually seen in people's feeds. Now when I post it seems nobody sees them.

How do I proceed? Is paid advertising the only way on facebook now? Or, can I still reach people via educational posts?

In theory...the more informational content you create over time your reach gets larger. It helps to be a member of any groups that might be related to your niche, and participate. Participate doesnt mean blast the group with sell sell sell, but interact, engage

I would be multiplying my efforts and going to Instagram as well

Thank you, this makes sense, and so it is still possible to grow organically.

It is just like a search engine page, just post quality content and stuff it with powerful user search keywords (please make it readable).

Then social bookmark using things like moneyrobot or whatever submission software.

Lastly, reach out to people who are visiting the same groups you are reading/viewing (makes sense doesn't it)...then like their comments/replies to them and give useful information.

You literally build a following and making people happy. It gives them a shred of hope that there is someone in the world that understands them and offers educational posts.

Also, I was thinking about emailing related website owners and asking them to visit the website and give their comments.

    Hope this helps...enjoy

Great, thanks for this. So I just need to keep at it and post more, and connect to more people through comments.

The algorithm and factors of engagement are always changing .With that being said do some research and determine what factors do face book prioritize as far as engagement.

You might also want to boost one the post as well because organic reach is limited .

Reposting into some groups constitutes as spam activity.

      I would start fresh.

Weeks could have a big impact on social media so years with no engagement is a ghost town.

I helped a person with a 1000,000 plus follower page who kept growing with zero advertising.

Problem was he had no idea hiw to monetize it.

Kinda an obsure niche it was for people mourning the loss of a loved one.

But he was elated when I suggested he offer an eComm dropshipping store with appealing quotes on merchandise that his followers reponded very positively to.

I also know of a luxury niche FB page that grows easily with no ads.

Often your other social profiles will do all the work for you for traffic.

      Just keep things infotaining.

Facebook is going to make it harder for you to get your content seen without advertising. It is harder but not impossible however you can Increase your facebook page reach without advertising. Content is very important to increase followers, so the first thing which you can do is write engaging contents. You can use text, videos, images. Make a blog and embed your posts in your blog. Encourage your fans to like it or share it with their network.. Give them reasons to comment on your post. Do experiment and figure out what works for you, because every audience is different. All the best!

You would want to make people aware of your presence right? So advertising to some extent is essential.

      "To some extent"

When does advertising here becomes non-essential?

I don't think so, paid advertising is the only way to grow your audience, you can get organic reach with the right amount of audience of people.
    1) You should re-engage your audience with eye-catching images and captions.
    2) Share your post on FB groups
    3) Use of relevant hashtags
    4) Invite page-like requests to your FB friends.
    5)Focus on Fan-Centric Content. ...
    6) Analyze Your Most Popular Posts. ...
    7)Prioritize Comments & Replies. ...
    8) Tailor Your On-Site Content for Facebook. ...

Lately, good organic reach is almost impossible to achieve on Facebook and Instagram, so I wouldn't rely to much on it if you want to attract new audience, as for this paid ads are definitely the only decent choice that you have, so stick with it and try various campaigns or do some A/B testing as well.

Organic reach is only possible if you already have a massive following.
