Twitter has launched another Spotlight module for Professional Profiles, allowing pro users to showcase a Twitter community on their main app display.

Professional accounts, as seen in this example, may now highlight their devoted Twitter community beneath their information and above the tweet timeline, which may assist to create greater interest in more concentrated tweet conversation in the app.

This is in addition to the other Professional Profile features offered to account converts, such as better analytics display, professional category options, extra contact data, and more.

Professional Profiles now have five Spotlight components to pick from to display on their Twitter home page as a result of the new update:
  • Location Spotlight - Showcase your business' location, hours of operation, and additional contact methods
  • Shop Module - Highlight products, with direct purchase links in the app
  • Mobile App Spotlight - Display an app at the top of your Twitter feed
  • Link Spotlight - Add a link, with CTA, via a prominent button on your page

Overall, Communities do not appear to have become a key component of the Twitter experience, although Twitter's claim that Communities take-up has been strong, and the inclusion of Spotlight was sought by many pro users.

We can only depend on anecdotal evidence because Twitter hasn't published any official Community use insights. But basically, all you need to know is how much interaction you're getting in your tweet communities and whether it's benefitting your business.

Chime in.

Community is important so I'll be using the feature .

I also like the fact that Elon Musk has taken over Twitter .Lots of innovative changes coming in the future.

Pretty interesting, Elon effect through or not, Twitter is making good changes lately...Hopefully, they can do something to clean Twitter from bots, it is just ridiculous to see the big accounts (and not-so-big ones) with dozens and even 100's of fake accounts spamming
