Possible Instagram Hack to Increase Reach

So I've noticed something about Instagram from time to time. Recently I decided to test it out but I'm still not sure. I welcome everyone's feedback.

I have a decent size IG account (about 60k+) followers. I hate with a passion how much IG limits our reach after putting in the work to build up our accounts. Anyway, I've notice from time to time that if I wait a long time (like months) to update my IG app, my reach increases.

I tried it again recently and one of my posts hit the explore page. Look at these numbers. Has anyone else experienced this??? Other posts have also been getting better reach, just not explore page reach.

      If you're referring to the reach, I just don't update the instagram app on my phone.

    This is interesting, what do you mean by "from time to time"? How many times have you tried this with the same result of increased reach? And how many months have you waited each time?

      I've noticed it a several times. Not intentionally. I'm just not pressed to always update all my apps. When I've noticed improvement in my posts engagements, I would then hold off longer with the IG updates. After the updates, then the engagements would go down.

        I wonder if there is actually a trick to this, because I happened to notice this once myself but thought at the time it was just a fluke. I'll try it again, thanks for sharing!

    You need to take care the captions of your posts. They need to be relevant as well as informative with your photos, videos, and reels. In addition, the hashtags you are using must be to the point of your post so that people who clicked on a hashtag will get your posts and for that you can do little bit research on the topic about what keywords should be used as hashtags.
