Twitter Blue users can now upload long videos

And by long, I mean 2-hour long videos. Twitter says:

"Subscribers can upload videos up to 2 hours long (1080p) on twitter.com and Twitter for iOS. Subscribers can upload videos up to 10 minutes long on Android. If you aren't a Twitter Blue subscriber, you can still upload videos up to 140 seconds long on any platform."
It won't be easy however, as this is in some ways competing with YouTube for video consumption. There won't also be incentive for creators to post exclusive content to Twitter.

But whatever happens, it seems video will play a bigger role on Twitter.

Chime in.

Last week, Twitter announced that Blue users can now upload videos on the platform that are up to 8GB in size and can last for up to two hours. A tweet from the owner of the microblogging platform, Elon Musk, revealed that subscribers to Twitter Blue can upload videos that are two hours long to the platform. The duration has been increased from the previous limit of 60 minutes by the company.

Yes, Blue Tick user can upload long videos and also lengthy text in their posts, and other users still upload 160 seconds of video only. I hope Twitter will update its policy for other users.
