YouTube Stories will soon be retired

Google just announced that YouTube Stories will be deprecated next month.



The feature was originally launched in 2018 as part of the Stories trend (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, among other things), with the goal of providing a similar, full-screen engagement option to audience.

But it was never fully launched to all users, especially now that Shorts and Community Posts are gaining more traction on the platform. So it just makes more sense to just move on from YouTube Stories.

    Good move in my opinion. I've never watched a single YouTube story, nor has anyone I know. Shorts are where it's at, so I could kind of see this coming.

    I think It's good decision by Google. I am also happy to know that Youtube stories will inactive soon. Hope for the next new and advance replacement.
