What would now be your biggest challenge on Twitter/X?

Twitter is no longer the Twitter we used to know. For starters, it's now called X. And it's seen quite a drop users, either jumping ship to Threads, or plainly leaving the platform.

If you're still on X, what's your biggest challenge with building an audience?

    I haven't been able to sign into Twitter for years. Now that's it's called X I may never use it again. However may be doable as a marketing platform.

    Those sites (quite a few of them) who only quote Similarweb, are estimating X is down 18%....but other sites say it is 4%.


    How many are real people - and how many are bots? No one knows.


    My personal pet peeve for 2023 is that you cannot read ANYTHING about X without someone saying "X - that USED to be called Twitter"...yeah, we know. My faves are those online saying 'how do I go back to Twitter?'. Losing people like that shouldn't count.

      Not only does everybody refer to it as formerly being Twitter,
      people refer to the messages as tweets.

      It reminds me of when The Artist Formerly Known as Prince
      changed his name to the Love Symbol and that went on for
      20 years.

      Changing the company name to X doesn't make sense to
      anyone besides Elon Musk.

    But - it doesn't HAVE to make sense to anyone except Elon Musk.


    And it sort of DOES make sense as X is a letter he uses frequently...in his son's name, and in SpaceX etc.


    I've always referred to Twitter devotees as 'twits' so...I think Elon Musk knows exactly how to trigger people and get attention.

    Right now is too fickle, people keep migrating to other socials or not engage that much with what they find, is not a safe option to have consistency

    X is a bit difficult to operate especially for new Twitter users, it doesn't give as much satisfactory user experience as the previous Twitter version. Just my personal observation and loading of videos can be a bit tricky
