Rising X account. What to do with it?

Hey all,

I've been a member here for a long time but I rarely if ever post anymore although I do browse from time to time.

I (fairly) recently built my X account from 2k users on a dormant account to almost 20k in approximately 12 weeks.

I think I got something like 40 or 50 million views in that time too. Althyi need to double check this.

It cost me some money in terms of subscriptions, learning how to do things etc.

I realised I had no clue why I was even doing it and still don't.

My account is not public it's an anon account and it has no real niche outside of me just doing research and posting educational/entertaining threads on things I'm interested in.

Before I give up on the project, what could I do with it?

I tried affiliate marketing once or twice but gave up on it.

I got a few offer's to do paid promos for crypto projects but that's not my thing.

If you have any ideas shoot them below.

The only thing that kind of felt like it might work is if I created my own product, physical or digital or partnered up with someone.

Let me know your thoughts cheers.

PS link in sig is old don't click it, need to figure out how to delete it.

    Here's a thought:

You might not need to "monetize" the account right now but you can start shaping it into something with optionality.

A rising audience, even behind an anon account, is still a trust-based asset. And the fact that it's built on research and entertainment means people are already leaning in they just don't know what to buy from you yet.

If creating your own product feels like the most aligned option (and I think you're onto something there), here's a framework to play with zero fluff no sales pitch, just clarity

What's a rabbit hole you've explored that saved people time?
Package your process into a short, no-fluff "field guide." People love curated insight from someone who's already gone deep.

What do people keep asking about (even indirectly)?
Your DMs, comments, or most-viewed threads probably hold patterns. That's demand in disguise.

What's the utility layer behind your curiosity?

If your content makes people smarter, faster, or more interesting that's a real edge.
You can turn it into swipe files, mindmaps, mini-courses, or even "thinking toolkits" around specific ideas.

And if you're not ready to launch anything solo, partnering with someone who has a product but lacks reach could be a low-effort, high-upside move especially if you maintain full creative control.

You don't have to rush into monetization. Just aim to make the account more useful to your ideal follower. Revenue tends to follow relevance.

Rooting for whatever direction you choose feels like you've got something rare here.

Obviously, affiliate marketing is the way to go on social media
since all you do is post your links and go about your business.

If you have been posting educational info, develop a course
    and push that.

It's difficult to give advice to someone who is averse to doing
    the obvious.

Read a "how to make money on twitter" or passive income
book and find something that works for you.

  • Did they ever say how much they would pay you to promote their crypto projects?
