Hello warriors. You may worried about my title but i would like to express my opinion on this.

There are several services out there who ask you much money to add twitter followers or facebook fans to your accounts.

In my opinion the best way is to do the job by yourself since YOU and only YOU now what you really need your accounts to have.

This way you will have a complete control on your accounts and of course you will save a lot of money.

    I guessing you missed tpw post a view days ago, Facebook likes and twitter followers are important for business. People goes where the crowd goes.

    I don't suggest give access to your account (that is not smart), but what I am saying get some followers, if you really want to be followed in future.

      Yes its good to buy a few for social proof when you have zero followers or Likes but that's it!

      However, in regards to Facebook if you were to buy invites instead of Likes the quality of fans would be better.

      Having potential fans decide whether to Like your page is better than someone sending a in box message to 5,000 friends telling them to Like your page. Just so that they can pocket a Fiverr.:rolleyes:

    Regardless of whatever any one says, social media is the way to go.
    If you have a few likes on ur page, it helps rather then having nothing at all!!
    if ur popular, ppl will follow u just because they will find ur page valuable and its cool being a part of a good page which has lot of people!!

    OT; I only buy Facebook likes for my photos when we have a competition with my friends like having most likes in our photos.. LOL

    Seriously, when it comes to Fan Pages it should be real people. I have noticed that those guys selling followers or fb fans, they were just using different kind of fake accounts.

    We agree that buying twitter followers is pointless and sometimes dangerous (if they request your account details). But we are all for promotion of twitter profiles, (it's what we do). But we only deal with humans the rest of the work is up to you to convert them into potential leads/clients/customers.

    True, most people just fail to understand this. In fact, even we did not follow the principle of 'working ourselves' on our Social Media profiles. The truth is - there are very few genuine ways to get you quality followers on Twitter. And what most services do is spam here and there; do the follow-unfollow thingy and get followers.

    Plus, there are high chances of your account getting misused. Almost every service provide would need your Twitter account info, which I think is very risky and MUST be avoided.

    Instead of doing the whole "FB buying fans" - I'd just use FB ads to do it. I know someone with a $100 who can get you 5000 - 10000 fans (I've seen numerous amount of his Fanpages).

    Plus, that way you're targeting people who actually want to like your business.

      Does this mean that somebody spent $100 on Facebook ads and got 5000 - 10,000 fans? Is it possible to get that sort of a result for that sort of payment? I am interested in testing some ads but don't know where to start.

      This is actually a much better idea than buying fans and followers. Mind revealing who your source or go to guy is for the $100 if you don't mind? Sounds doable even on like a five dollar a day plan or campaign or something for like twenty days or whatever.

    Something none mentioned is the EdgeRank problem. Facebook measures the engagement of your fans with what you post.

    So whenever you post something that none actually cares about, facebook will now display your posts on their feeds.

    When you are buying FB fans (who are usually not interested to what you do) you are actually harm your business as you decrease your edgerank.

    Now for twitter you wont have a problem like that, but as those followers will be untargeted you just raising a number, not traffic, not conversions, not engagement. So in other words it is just a waste of time and money.

      Agree with Lamatic on this one.

      Imho social authority is as important as link authority now. Likes, +1's and followers mean nothing unless backed up by authority.

      Getting a ton of Likes and +1s won't really make much of a difference to your rankings and even if the search engines do find a few shares/tweets of links to your content, it probably won't have a huge impact either.

      Time and money would be better spent on getting an authoritative person in your space to share your content.

      I believe that 1 social signal from someone in authority in your niche is worth xxxx signals from random unrelated accounts. I guess like the old days of a PR1 link being worth xxxx PR0 links.

    Buying likes or followers only works to provide a head start as few people will "like" a page with only a few likes. However don't think of these people as customers, they're only staging. Like the furniture in a model house.

    They're there to give the illusion of popularity and you should be working very hard to build real ones.

    Well yes, it is true that buying fans/followers are useless for some...

    sometimes tho....these "buy facebook fans couldbe real/ could be not, but yea...

    See it from the other point of view....I personally think "buy facebook fans" can only be something like you know...psychological effect, more fans you have, more credible your offer looks infront of anyone...

    and when people see it, they will think "this page has lots of fans, let me check, maybe it offers something interesting" yea..things like that..this possibly could trigger the real fans you will have


    I just tried fbfansupply.com last week, their customer support is A+ so far and i got my 1k fans on time .... I also tried some sites like usocial, they are good too....or you see all in all, it is true, there are no shortcuts to $$, it takes time, process to gain lists, fans or etc, but atleast there are ways just to get more exposures u kno, and some people/providers can do some cant and die trying ,,

      As to the OP, depends on circumstance.
      There are uses to inflated followers/users. Sure you can never market to them, because they are bots 99% of the time, but it helps build the appearance of popularity, which in turn will help build actual followers.

      Its why restaurant owners like to seat people near the window if its quiet.

    It's not really useless to buy Twitter followers and Facebook likes (no matter if its real or not), it really gives your website or landing page more exposure. In other words, it's quite better than no followers or likes at all. Everybody has their own reasons and purposes of buying them.

    I agree. It is a better idea to get Twitter followers, and Facebook likes on your own. I have read many stories about people who have purchased them from Fiverr.com. A gig may advertise that they will get you 5,000 FB likes for $5. Sure, they do get you the likes, but after a few days, the likes keep dropping off, until you are back where you started from in the first place.

    The fans and followers will be worth the money if they are real people and you can monetize them, otherwise if they are fake there's no sense no matter how many like or followers you have. It'll be like offering your product and services to a crowd of mannequins you may have your audience (paid) for nothing. Might as well market it yourself and get some real audience it may require all of your efforts but it'll be worth it...

    That depends on who are you buying from. If they are cheap and dont offer guarantee, then they are all from Social exchange networks, which they will part in just a matter of days.

    But as it comes at the end of the day. Content is the King. And thats a true cliche.
    You gotta work hard to gain your followers. But some people just want to deliver results to clients, and buying Followers/Fans is the only way to complete contracts.

      This is another good one. Why gamble on buying worthless empty fans or followers that you had to bribe to like your or follow your page? This is still social proof. It's like the old guest blogging route or just even a recommendation or endorsement from a quality high traffic high engagement social media page in your niche. If you are going to spend money anyway you might as well make it money well spent.

    Sounds like a logical sense my friend. Hmn, but last time I check the financials, it seems common sense works better. Why do you create a sales pitch like you are already a made millionaire even though just an affiliate marketing starter, because you know everyone wants to get involved with the individual with a huge account.

    yeah why would you? There is no shortcut and anybody trying to sell you that BS is trying to take advantage of you.

    Sure you can train somebody how to do it but to just hire somebody you don't know...

    Thats like me giving some investor 30 grand of my money when the guy lives in a trailer park.

    Quality is better than quantity. Although buying likes or followers seems good at the start to gain instant popularity, building up an army of genuine followers may take time but is still the best move and gives you far better reputation in the long run.
