Another way to drive views to YouTube is to comment on other peoples videos!

okay make sure you have the main keywords in the title not more than 2 long tails seperated by this symbol known as the pipe ---> | its located above the enter key.. Make sure you put the URL with http:// first in the description and then make sure your keywords in the description and the tags as well you can use Windows Movie maker to make a URL watermark within your video or if you are on a MAC use their video editing software . Also youtube has annotation feature where you can put little word bubbles up that say click the link. Next go to fiverr.com and buy some backlinks to your video and your youtube channel RSS feed also buy some youtube views and comments for social proof and also it helps you rank in youtube ..Last but not least there is a service called content buzz that you can join for 37 monthly that is geared towards getting ranked within youtube and other people will promote and share your video so there you have it

Since YouTube has so much clout, you don't need many backlinks to get it rising to the top of the organic results for a given keyword. I've found that Blog commenting in niche blogs is a big help here.

Also do a keyword search for blogs that are targeting similar keywords. If you fnd them near the top of G's search results, they should be getting decent traffic from search engines. If the post is closely aligned with your video, post a link to the video as part of a high value comment.

If it gets approved, you'll get some link juice, and visitors to your video.

On YouTube itself, make sure you actively solicit thumbs up and comments from the description and also the annotation, shich you'll place insode the video itself.

Another great trick is to find popular videos with similar subject matter, and leave your video as a video comment. The other video owner has to approve it, but that can gnerate significant traffic as well.

This was done by issuing backlinks to the video. Backlinks boost your rankings.

Do some keyword research and make a video on that topic and then SEO it. Youtube video are really easy to SEO.

Another nice little secret is ToolTube Software...

This runs in the background and subscribes to channels and posts comments. Effectively making your channel more popular to get more 'real views'. Some Fiverr gigs will inflate your view counts and favorite your video however they aren't real — just masked. The ToolTube actually helps you get people who are interested in your content from the same niche.

I used ToolTube for a while and it DID generate views and subscribers. A few people will of course be fired up that they received something unsolicited, but it was not that big of a deal

People talk about SEO and YRO (you tube ranking optimization), but I think that having a controversial topic is max at getting you views. Most people want videos to go viral, but typically what attracts more viewers is unique movies. Key is to increase your exposure.

To get real views on YouTube you need to rank high for a specific keyword...

On-page is really important for a youtube video.
Also you can go crazy with off-page SEO because a youtube video never gets sandboxed (as far as i know)

And.... the number of Youtube views are a huge factor to rank high on Google/Youtube. Notice how all top results have millions of views...

o annotations are getting easier to add on Youtube and although the biggest fault the system has it that it doesn’t let you link out to 3rd party sites (huge spam issues would arise) annotations do help you to grow subscribers. Have a look at the last 10 seconds of our video below and you’ll see a couple of links to our own channel and to our “about us” video. Used correctly (and there are tons of creative ways in which you can do this) annotations are an easy way for you to quickly drive some new subscribers to your channel or views to other videos that might not have been getting so much traffic.

Optimize your video for your keywords! Use your keywords in your title and description. Add CTAs. Make sharing these videos easier by making them short. Promote the hell out of these videos on social networking. And don't forget to bookmark them.

I agree with the posts above Youtube can be extremely powerful if you optimize your videos for certain keywords.
You can do good keyword research using free tools such as Google adwords keyword tool and traffic travis.
Make sure your video is optimized with keyword in title, description,and tags.
Google also owns Youtube so it can help it get ranked in Google fast if optimized.

Social media is also a great way to get people to view your videos.
If you are looking for views you can check out fiverr gigs there are several people offering views there. It can help to boost your videos reputation.

What is helping me a lot is by focusing on traffic thats ALREADY on youtube.

It seems much easier to get views that way than trying to drive people in from other sites.

All I did was get one comment on a high ranking video, its been 2 days now and my one video has blown up with tons of views.

I haven't done any other promoting and my hops just keep going up and up (with 4 sales so far).

I also split tested the video to another one with no promoting, and for an extra 5 minutes of time, I am now getting over 20x the amount of views on just this 1 video.

You want to buy a couple hundred (not thousands) of real views that are spread out evenly over a week or two, not all at once. And also edu backlinks. Once that is done you will start seeing the video's rank improve and many times, especially if it is a local keyword, that is all that is necessary. But if not then you get some G+ and FB likes and commentary. Social signals are big now with Google.

Try doing some SEO for the video by posting backlinks with the relevant keywords. Also, you can post in related forums and hopefully it will go viral. Another option will be to post it in social networks such as Facebook and Pinterest.

Your video must be good in quality. Name your video file accurately. If it's about a lizard, then the word "lizard" should be in the file name of the video. You can name it "scary-lizard.mov." You just have to optimize your youtube videos step by step:

Step 1: keyword must be in title. Having a researched keyword on your title that you are trying to rank for. Same thing applies with your blog post title.

Step 2: have a good description with your link to your blog post and blog site. Eg.

Step 3:Next create a mini blog on description with keywords and lsi keyword.

Step 4: put time stamps on key points on your vids at the beginning of your paragraph

Step 6: transcript. I know its hard work but to be on top you must do captions on your videos.

You can get some good number of views from Reddit. If you have a blog or website page where you can embed the Youtube video and write 300 words of content with it. Give a catchy title to the video blog. Find subreddits which are mid-sized related to your niche. Create your Reddit profile and save, like and share other people reddits. Build some trust on reddit and then share your video blog page. You can get 1000s of visit to that page if you are lucky.

YouTube is like a search engine and there for the more views you have the higher you will be and the more natural views you will get. There are services out there that can get you some views quickly to help you on the way and i do provide such services but to keep the traffic flowing after we have given you the traffic from our social network you will need to make sure that you keywords are set properly and make use of the description to add info on your video as this will help your video get seen as well.

There's a easy way to shoot up views. Optimize your title and descrition and after that buy paid views from fiverr or some other place. Those would be fake views, but would shoot up your video to page 1.
