I think it matters. Getting lots of traffic without leads signify something: traffic is not targeted enough. Maybe you should switch/change your current approach a little bit?

Thanks...that is how I came across this approach. I'm definitely hitting home with a problem solver for them. That is why they are coming to my site but they are not leaving their contact information.

  I find tweets where I can help solve their problem and reply directing them to the solution. It is definitely getting me LOTS of traffic but no leads for the product itself. I am wanting to capture their info.

If you're generating traffic but no leads then you have one part of your equation down. If you're advertising a product try tweeting out things like, "Promotion!! 25% off of promo code: Twitter" - or something similar. Try to convert your traffic with giveaways.
