Help! Google+ Profile Suspended

My Google+ profile was recently suspended and I don't understand why. I'm trying to figure out 1) if there's something I need to be doing to fix it and 2) how to prevent it from happening again.
Here is the message I get when I access my Google+ account...
"After reviewing your profile, we determined that some of the content (for example text, images, or name) violates the Google+ User Content and Conduct Policy or Names Policy. Please remember that profiles are limited to individuals; use Google+ Pages for businesses and other entities....If you believe that your profile was suspended in error, or if you recently changed your profile to comply with our policies please submit your profile for reconsideration."
My profile hasn't changed since I created my Google+ account. I use my complete name, so I know it's not a names violation. I had requested that they reconsider my profile and it looks like they haven't changed their mind.
I only post about 1 link per day. This is usually a link for an article that I've written. Sometimes I'll also share a post that a fellow-writer has posted. So we're talking about 2 shares max per day and maybe a few +1s. So certainly NOT a spammer.
The only thing that has changed recently is I've added a bunch of people to my circles. I joined a couple of public circles and increased my #s a lot. Is this what would have caused Google to think I was a spammer?
So here are my questions.
1. Will this go away or should I move on to create a new Google+ account?
2. What triggers these suspensions?
3. Should public circles be avoided?
4. Proper way to promote an article. I put it to Public, but should I be limiting it to my circles? Won't this limit the impact of the link?
5. Should I be posting my articles to a business page instead?
Thank you for your help.
