Need opinions about creating viral FB apps

I'm just starting with social media marketing. My background is purely developement, so I've built from scratch a web tool that allows me create Facebook apps easy as pie.
Here is the result: Great Social Apps
The idea is pretty easy: the Facebook apps generate on-the fly engaging images using user data (i.e: profile picture, name, etc.,) and post them to the user's wall with a link back.
The problem now is how to get some traffic to keep the viral spread going.
So I'd appreciate any opinion about this business, and any tip on how to start promoting these apps.
