Be careful about going on a link-posting spree, as this will look strange if you suddenly gain a lot of links from forums. Also make the posts relevant and high-quality so they don't get trashed.

Your links will look more natural if you don't fret about 'dofollow' links. Imagine what search engines will think if they found out you created thousands of dofollow links in just one week?! :p

You will want to disperse your keywords via anchor links to a variety of high authoritative web sites, including forums. Keep it natural with engaging content.

Buy some forums list from a provider and use that list instead.

But mind your head and always remember to use natural links in any community. I think 80% domain optimize is the best way to build website.

Forums are as such not meant to be targeted as dofollow or nofollow. Use forum not for link building but for advertisements purpose. And one most important thing is don't use anchor text, rather use the URL and no signature links also.
