  • My vote goes to Facebook. It is an one of the best place to marketing your products. I don't have experience with twitter selling products.
  • Both are good, but in my opinion, Facebook can give you a better chance to market your brand. You can build a page about your brand and put up description and information about it. The character limit in Facebook is not as few as Twitter has, so you won't have a hard time posting what you want to say. Also, you can tag more people in Facebook.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Again, my vote also goes to Facebook! It has a far better "Social" Integration then Twitter!
  • Both Social Media Site is Good For all. Everyday increase in both sites visitors like Facebook and twitter.
  • Hi , You can promote your business on both of them. The only difference will be on twitter you have to keep your promotional content precise other than this both channels are great for promotion.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • By now, Facebook is better than Twitter, the media things are better on Facebook. Twitter does not focus on business, they has another target
  • Facebook is much more business oriented in the sense where you can utilize apps to create many different ways to get your customer in front of your product whether it's having an online store directly on your Facebook page or creating landing pages on Facebook to your website's online store.

Twitter will always be one of the social media greats but as mentioned before it can be limited. It's always great to at least have a presence to increase brand recognition but you can still penetrate the saturation on Twitter by posting incentives for followers who sign up for some type of mailing list on your website.

• Both are great, though I believe facebook gives you a broader market and better sharing options. Also if you are planning to market in Twitter, make sure your page has a good mobile version.
  • Hi mannie85!

Both are good forms of marketing venue. Both are useful. You cannot say that one is better than the other. For me, Facebook and Twitter are lead generators and they direct you to your sales page. It is hard to do direct selling in both parties.

It is advisable that you use both as you can sync the content of twitter account with your Facebook account.
  • I would go for facebook. The reason is, it has a nice interface where you can share your products and its info. People like to click more on images than just plain links. Also you can create a page on Facebook where you can share your stuff and get more likes and share for the page.
  • It really depends, both platforms have different audiences. The material posted to each should be different as well.
  • I prefer both because I use them always in marketing my websites on social media...
  • Facebook is much more famous than twitter. It also gives more traffic.
  • Facebook is the better way to improve good business because Facebook have a large number of good ideas and different way to promote your services.
  • I WILL DEFINITELY SUGGEST YOU FACE BOOK. I ALSO USE FACE BOOK MORE THEN TWITTER.
  • Facebook is BY FAR a better place to sell products that twitter. I personally don't use twitter much, I've sold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stuff on facebook.
  • While I would certainly give Facebook a big edge, perhaps conducting a simple A/B marketing test between the two platforms may shed some light on which platform may work best for your product. Not high dollar - just a small sample test. You also could consider a hybrid approach where both platforms are used but with slightly different yet supportive strategies.
  • Facebook is the best way to promote your products, you can add images, content, friends, post etc... way more robust then twitter... Good Luck!
  • I guess Facebook is a lot better than Twitter but I know people with a great success just by using Twitter more than Facebook.
  • Both are popular social media sites but I think for SEO use facebook is more useful because we can share anything there..Twitter is more professional..
  • Both are best Facebook and twitter this type of social sites very helpful in our website promotion and that is good...
  • twitter users are online 73% more than facebook during the day. Facebook users are online 23% more after 5pm. Decide who youre target is first
  • i think face book is best for you but in this time twitter is very popular you should try both.
  • for me FB works better than twitter

    • i'm voting for facebook, because in twitter you need huge follower or retweeter
  • I think facebook is best for marketing.
Actually facebook is helpful for business.
  • I think Facebook is the best source for selling products. my Vote is for Facebook
  • facebook. It has many options than twitter.

  • They are both equally useful if you use them well.
  • Facebook is great for promoting products, while Twitter is excellent for sharing content. If you have an article you or someone else created you are excited about, Tweeting it is much more effective in my experience.

Where as Facebook is better for gaining consumer interaction and gaining some sales numbers.

  • Surely Facebook.
  • There's no comparison really. Facebook is 1 trillion times better.. Twitter is good if you want to get alot of tire kickers
  • you have better chances to promote your product on facebook because of number of texts that you can add in a post whereas on twitter, you have to express yourself in 140 words which is not enough sometimes.
when you are promoting a product, you need to define each and every positive thing about the product which is really essential in getting your users attention.

though twitter has its own benefits as you have followers there. Whatever you post on your profile is visible to everyone in their profile which means you have a better range and a bigger audience.

So it totally depends on what type of product you are promoting rather than just how are you promoting on social medias.
  • Facebook is ofcourse better when it comes to selling products as it reaches out the right audience..!
  • In my opinion, Facebook is much better than Twitter. Its because you have a separate page for your business.
  • Facebook is the best place to sell your products. You can have a page where you can post all your products with the "add to cart" button. There are also huge of number of users who use Facebook. You can use Twitter to add some traffic to your Facebook page as Twitter was made not for marketing.
  • For B2B sales Twitter can be a good. Seems to me only 14 year old kids and business are on Twitter these days.... I've always done well with Facebook.

If you have to do 2 social networks I'd do Facebook and Google Plus.
  • I have to prefer both because both have its own lots of customer and good database.
  • How about Google plus, indexed by Google.
  • Both are best! you better use both of them. but if you ask which is better, then I vote facebook.
  • Twitter is best! But you have to know the marketing methods using twitter!
  • Both are good for different things.
Facebook is good for connecting with personal friends whereas twitter is good for connecting with people you don't know but could potentially become friends.
  • Twitter is best for me but this still depends on what works with you.
  • Facebook is a perfect place for getting traffic.
  • Ive seen a lot more response and conversions on Facebook. I would use both though!
  • Facebook is better for sell the products.
  • You can sell on both. It depends partly on your product but more on your ability to market the product successfully on either network.

If you don't know how to engage with people on Twitter you'll never sell anything there. And the same with Facebook.
  • Facebook has good conversion than twitter

    #based on my experience
  • Obviously Facebook, because you can engage in more deep level with your customers... you basically enter into their personal space.

    • Facebook ALL the way.

Then again, I rarely tweet so that might have to do with my answer

Plus Facebook's PPC is excellent. Highly targeted leads for a very low price
  • For selling products facebook will be appropriate. It has huge traffic.
  • facebook is much more famous than twitter. it also gives more traffic
  • Facebook gives more traffic than Twitter. I have checked it several times.
  • Why even compare the two? Use them both together...link your Facebook and Twitter accounts, use an automator and you're on these two sites 24/7.

This brings killer traffic for me every day.
  • The two platforms are great for traffic and leads but I suggest mastering one platform first and then adding the other. If you try to learn both at the same time you might spread yourself too thin.
