I wrote a blog post explaining it all here that might give some newbies an idea on how to get around it. I love it so far!

I really want to try it, but I'm afraid they're going to turn out like most internet marketing communities I try to join: full of spam. :T

Google+ has a good prospect. The time is not so far when G+ will take the place of Facebook.

I saw a headline that G+ had 500million signed up. Was surprising. But wonder how many of those are actually regular users? I did start an acct but have not used it.

Good question. Some are very active, practically addicted. I used it quite a bit in January, I am sort of back now.

I don't see too many marketers there, and I somewhat doubt Google will be happy to see lots of them either, but I may be wrong.

I actually prefer Google Plus to Facebook. I like its clean design and other features. I think the quality of people it attracts is better than on Facebook and I say so even though I am far from being Google's fan.

The communities could be interesting, if only I could trust Google more ...

So far, I find google+ akward and I see other people using it for their blog or biz but not for personal use so much. I use it about once a week but I use Facebook everyday. I get a lot of traffic from Facebook but can't tell about google +. Does anyone know how to tell on which traffic comes from google+ not google searches?

I love the new Google communities. I became a member of a few social media marketing communities just to observe and see how fast they grew. It only took about a week for 2 of the communities to have 500 members. It seems like a strong active community of people and I think it can be valuable for business.

I saw Google Plus featured on one of the news channels this week, so it seems to getting more and more exposure. I am definitely looking to put more time into the platform myself.

Google has done great thing by creating a social media platform google plus but I think it is not much popular as other social platforms and does not give much benefit while using for SEO purpose with my experience.
