Direct linking with social media sites?

Hello I'm new to the forum and I want to know how to directlink on plentyoffish. I heard from an intertnet marketing guru Andrian Morrison that I dont need a website and there is alot of potential on the site.

I want to promote affiliate products from clickbank or somehere else. I'd like to know step by step and if anyone has had any success on plentyoffish.

My hope is to invest $30 dollars to get started and make $1000 to $1500/month

You can directlink on POF but if you are linking to a Clickbank product make sure it doesn't have any exit popup. To create a campaign just read their blog and guidelines. Here is a helpful article:

I suggest making a landing page with an optin form so that you can build a list for long term success, good luck!

Yes, you can direct link on POF (just set up a campaign and use your affiliate link as the destination URL?) but for the longterm you should split test landing pages in with direct linking as well as building yourself an asset (a list).

Rotate offers (in this case, your affiliate link and your landing page link) with a free tracking tool like Prosper202.

In my opinion, without having a proper tracking set up, you will never make it on any paid traffic source.

What is exacly is the diffrence between a landing page or landing sites and a blog? What is building a list? Is it a list of name of people that I have emails from? How can i used that? How do i build a list? What is the conversion rate of the list? What does the tracking help me with? And so once I have build a landing page that is successful, I would just repeat the process, right? In your opinon is there a possibilty of having 10 landing pages earning $1500/month each? Can I get it done in 3 months? I'd like your guidance at this. We should talk.

I fear paid traffic isn't as straight-forward and hands-off as you'd like it to be. To go over your questions:

          1. What is exacly is the diffrence between a landing page or landing sites and a blog?

A blog is a site where someone continually contributes content to, usually in the form of articles or mixed media like images, video and audio. A blog comes with a sidebar, a comments function and all sorts of other bells and whistles. The point is to get content out there and have people participate.

A landing page, however, only has one goal: presell the deal (be that a sign-up, a download, a sale etc.). There are no distractions like a sidebar, navigation menu or comments function. It's a big headline, an image a couple of bullet points, maybe a short and informative snippet about the product/service being advertised and a big fat call to action (a link like "click here to download xyz").

          2. What is building a list? Is it a list of name of people that I have emails from? How can i used that?

Yes, a list is a database of the contact details from people. Usually, what you'll find referred to on this forum, it's a bunch of people (their names and email addresses) that signed up for a newsletter or similar.

You then use an autoresponder (like getresponse or aweber) to automatically and periodically send emails to these people, preferably with good content so people keep reading your newsletter, and an occasional soft-sell here and there to cover your costs and then some more.

          3. How do i build a list?

By building a squeeze page (a page with the sole purpose of capturing the visitors' email address; search google images to get an idea for what that is) and sending traffic to it (either free or paid).

          4. What is the conversion rate of the list?

Totallydepends on what content you send to that list, how your relationship is with that list (did you send out mostly valuable emails or only promotions?) as well as on the offer (to give a really basic example, the more expensive an offer is, the less people will buy it, therefore the conversion rate is lower than for a cheaper product).

          5. What does the tracking help me with?

It helps you separate the money-draining keywords from the profit-bringing ones. So for example, you have a paid campaign on adwords with 3 keywords, "blue widgets", "brown widgets" and "yellow widgets". All of these 3 keywords send traffic to a site of yours but you pay about $100 to make $100 back.

If you had tracking installed, you would find out that 2 of the 3 keywords are actually costing you money, i.e. you're paying more for the ads for these keywords than they bring in buying traffic. Thanks to tracking, you can now disable these 2 keywords and you are left only with keywords that are profitable.). Tracking really is a must when you're doing paid traffic or else it's like playing the lottery.

          6. And so once I have build a landing page that is successful, I would just repeat the process, right?

          Yes, pretty much.

          7. In your opinon is there a possibilty of having 10 landing pages earning $1500/month each?

There definitely is but it depends on a lot of variables, like your offer, your niche, your landing page design, your salescopy, your targeting etc.

Also, don't think that when you have a winning campaign on a paid traffic source that you can just set it and forget it. You'll have to monitor it continually and rigorously, keep split testing new ads and keywords to prevent banner blindnes and campaign burnout etc. The more campaigns you have running, obviously, the more work you have to do on a daily basis!

Also, keep in mind that in order to find a winning campaign that brings in $1500 a month you might have to spend several thousand $ upfront to weed out bad keywords/ads and tweak the campaign to profitability. It's an investment, not a loss because you're gathering valuable data to make an informed decision.

          8. Can I get it done in 3 months?

Everything is possible but I can't give you a definitive answer not knowing your abilities, previous experience, skills in all sorts of internet marketing areas, budget etc.

          9. I'd like your guidance at this. We should talk.

Sorry, I currently don't provide coaching but I hope my answers helped you in some way to do more research about the subject and figure out where to go from here. I still remember when I was at a point like you and appreciated every little help I got so I thought why not give back. Good luck!

It would be great if you make a landing page for yourself. It will definitely help you and as explained above put your affiliate link in the destination URL, which will help people to come to your products.

Best move would be to create your very own landing page for this purpose.

It is recommended and more rewarding to have a website of your own.
Creating a website is not that costly nowadays. You might even make the desired $1000 to $1500/month with your own webpage.
