buying traffic on youtube?

I have a video in a different niche than IM that is making sales for an Amazon product. It's a product I personally use and reviewed it via youtube video. The % of sales would most likely not justify an adwords campaign with Youtube. I would focus on either creating more videos, or other seo methods to promote it, including internal youtube likes, views, comments, as well as external - social bookmarking, and other forms of bulk backlinking.

Right now I have over 3k views and 4 sales. If I spent $$ promoting it I probably would have made a small profit (not really scalable), or broke even. Youtube does a great job of promoting your videos without paying for those views, but the landscape is changing and this is most likely the way of the IM future.

It all depends on how many people get attracted with your stuff. I have been using a outsourcer who makes the video, promotes it and does SEO for my site and has turned out to be very well.

Remember 3 things which are essential:
-SEO
-Video Marketing
-List Building

Just make sure the niche you choose attracts the visitors as well as your site.

You can't say whether you can generate sales from the views. Targeting the right people is necessary in order to get conversions. You money might go wasted if you buy the views. DO proper promotion and you will definitely get positive results.

What's a proper promoting? Does it cost anything? And what do I need to make a youtube video? And camera or web cam equitment?

There are software like Camtasia that you can use to create videos, you will need to make good/compelling voice over too. And how you showcase your product/video is directly linked to how it will perform.

You don't have to buy traffic or views on youtube. You can actually do it yourself by optimizing your youtube videos or channel. There are various ways to optimize your youtube channel/videos.
The first step is to make use of your metadata or the information you input about the video(s). That includes the title, description and the tags for the video. Other things you need to remember for optimization are the annotations and branding of your page.

Buying views will probably result in a 0% conversion rate and be non targeted traffic. Most people selling views are selling views with extremely low retention rates, which won't do much for your video ranking and likely get your video/account banned.

Buying YouTube views is different than promoting your YouTube video. Views are generally "fake" views. They will make your view count go up, but they won't be targeting visitors and they won't convert. Promoting your video is paying YouTube to advertise your video.

I make a few sales every month from videos I uploaded years ago.

Try marketing products with a rebill because the profits keep coming in.

Also, spend more time optimizing the video and sharing it than buying views.

A good optimized video will get views anway.

If you are into buying views, your best option may be tube toolbox. It is approved by YouTube and less of a chance of getting your video removed.

BAD IDEA! Youtube has made a new update on the 19th. They are starting to remove views or worst remove videos for fake views. Sony lost over 1 billion views because of that!
