Multiple Youtube Accounts?

On the Google/Youtube forums they say that you can have as many Youtube/Gmail accounts as you want, it is not against TOS. I currently have 5 Youtube accounts I created myself with corresponding Gmail accounts, with about 20+ videos each, a few years old, all organic traffic and videos monetized with Adsense and have never had a problem. I'm looking into creating more accounts for CPA & Clickbank use, but I keep reading about people getting banned by Youtube. I know a lot of accounts get banned because people are spamming and competitors flagging your videos, but what are the other reasons for Youtube banning accounts and is there a way to safeguard yourself from getting banned? If your videos are getting organic views, contain original content and are linking to your own domain/LP and not direct offers your videos and channels should be alright I would assume? I assume these people making new accounts with proxies and VPN/VPS are the ones worried about getting banned because they are using blackhat methods to drive traffic? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, as most of us have old accounts floating around as well, but sounds like you are doing things the right way. I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket either. If your sales are mostly from optimized video titles, rather than loyal subs I say spread the risk.

Avoid reuploading the same video, using any copyright music and add value in your videos and you should be fine. Then again, it's their sandbox so they can decide to shut you down if they like

It is generally content and traffic generation methods that lead to YouTube accounts being closed, rather than the number you have set up. There are perfectly legitimate reasons for wanting multiple accounts. For instance, you may want to have different channels centred around specific topics. Some of the biggest YouTubers do this, without any problems.

If you are going to the effort of running channels with only original content and organic traffic, it is unlikely that you will have time to set up enough to raise any flags.

I have more than one YouTube account myself. I sometimes seem to have problems signing into some of them in Firefox. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Thanks for the input guys, I've been talking to few guys that have been in the Youtube game for awhile and derived the following things to stay away from to not get banned or your videos deleted.

-Mass uploading videos in one day
      -Spamming comments with links
-Fishy sales sounding title, description, tags
      -Direct linking to affiliate offers
      -Using url shorteners

I know there are plenty using the last two but all it takes is a few competitors in your niche to start flagging your videos and Youtube sees and you get the ban. Also the more likes, subs and comments a video has the more flags it has to get to go to review

I would suppose having separate channels will protect us from being banned altogether. A different profile for each niche is useful. I will follow this thread as Google is making changes practically daily

I believe because you can have as many emails as you want and Google having a tradition of using one platform to link to all their parent sites made the law OK.

They may allow you to have multiple accounts but they will hound you to death about it with their phone verification notices. I think they changed their view on this and the only people who have more than 5 accounts are the ones who made them ages ago. Ive spent about a month trying to create multiple accounts and its been a nightmare. Good luck.
