I have noticed that some Internet marketing and social media firms have marketing plans that tell people that they will receive x amount of followers, connections, fans, and etc.

How do social media firms guarantee people that they will be able to get them x amount of likes, shares, followers, or fans?

I understand that there are organic ways to do this that may take a little longer through relationship building, but how do they deliver on these types of promises so quickly. Do they get these results through spammy tactics or are there some ways to get followers, fans, and likes really quickly? In the long run, is this effective?

They guarantee those numbers so people will buy their service. Nothing in life is guaranteed. I know of some that will just put fake followers / likes / etc. onto your page if they can't live up to their promise so it looks like they over deliver. Most companies have surefire ways to get fans, but they are never targeted to your niche and they're never people actually interested in what the fan page is about.

Nick is right, it's tough to offer such guarantees without generating fraudulent followers/traffic.

However, most people who buy thoses services don't actually know what they're buying, they don't know about bots and fake visitors, so they can't judge the quality of the services.

I agree with Nicksway. Although, even if they give you the said amount of fans, they would be fake and would not generate any revenue or any traffic for your site. It would be waste of money.

some use fake bots to "like" "follow" etc however its not hard to estimate how many follower or likes you can get on ad campaigns

because they have there own pages with tons of fans the process is simple when you pay there cost they will share your link to there fans pages and you will get a lot of fans but there is not any guarantee that they will give you targeted fans.

I've heard of websites that actually send you targeted real twitter followers. For example Twitter Blast | Buy Twitter Followers which have good reviews.

I tried something like that once, can't remember the name now. And it worked and they were real fans. The guy just kept sharing my twitter profile until I got the desired number of followers and I still interact with a lot of them today. Although I wouldn't go that route anymore.

Whether it is legit or not (but preferably legit), it is a short term solution at best. The actual value of Likes and Fans really depend on a number of other factors like niche, demographics, B2B or B2C etc. It can stir up interest for sure but you will need more than that to essentially make the most of the social media encounters people have with your business.

Honestly soeaking, there are many social media companies which are evry good, have lots of apps as well as give good insights about a facebook page.

But they can only predict results.

As far as the goals to achieve, they can always buy fb likes, twitter followers and youtube views.

yes, they are using bots, but that is not valuable. it is like getting a tons of crappy mp3 files by the price of buying 10 LPs. Lps are more valued than mp3 files, they were, they are and they always will.
Why? because you can sold that LPs 10 years after you buy it and they will maybe even worth more. what will you do with 10 albums in mp3 format, when every fool can download it on the internet?

same goes for the twitter followers. i have one twitter account with just 500 folowers and i got more than 20 potential customers for my seo service and turn few of them into a clients. it is not much, but still....
they have found me over the twitter. therefore i say it is better to have 500 highly targeted followers than to have 10.000 bots or untargeted followers.

No doubt its gonna have some mixture of fake followers when they hit the line 'guaranteed'
Well sometimes people just do not care about having real or fake followers, all they want is just an illusion for the visitors. People still buy fake followers. Some politicians did that...

Are you strange ? There are groups with over 100'000 fans and just 2-3 posts with links and there are 1k or 2000 likes on the posted page...

I used to believe all th xhjs&&& about guaranteed visitors to your site and have spent way way to much cash and i learned only one thing, nothing in life is guaranteed , sure you get the hits, but thats all you get, zero subscribers, therefore zero sales. My opininion is do the leg work yourself, learn a strategy that works, then just scale it

some have a network of real people with facebook accounts. the users will get credits/points for liking. Credits/points will be able to redeem prize, product or cash.

Through such route, even if you get fans that are not bot, they are not targeted at all.

It is tempting to use these services when you see other fan pages that has thousands or millions of likes or followers. I kinda get envious but my question is: for the people/company who use their services, do these likes and followers turn to revenue?

As what you all said, nothing in life is guaranteed. Go for legit techniques, it may take time but at the end, you are not left thinking if you are doing it right or not.

  • It is what you call a sales talk. They say it for you to be impressed and try their services.
They do it by using bots. New pages with tons of likes/fans/followers, although not all of them are fake.
