Separating personal social media accounts from business

I honestly haven't done much with social media even though I know I should. Why? Because the Facebook, Twitter, etc. accounts I currently have are mainly for keeping in touch with a few personal friends or old colleagues -- or in the case of Facebook, playing games . However, most social media sites frown on you having more than one account.

Do you keep your business social media accounts separate from your personal ones? If so, how do you do it without violating various sites' TOS, assuming that's important to you?

Facebook allows more then one page for "business's", fan pages, community pages etc... you just cannot have more then one personal account.. for facebook... also same thing for twitter but you have to use a separate e-mail for multiply twitter accounts
