How to make the most of a tweet to another persons followers?

Hi,

I have the possibility of having a tweet posted to another persons twitter followers, which is my target audience. My product is business software.
My goal would be to get the audience to check out our website and download a demo.
I have a landing page.

Any experience on what works the best when making such a 'guest tweet'?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Thomas

Do not follow too many people. No one is going to follow someone who is following thousands of people but only has 10 followers.
    Retweet interesting posts.
Retweet and participate in conversations with people with a lot of followers.
Realize it is impossible for anyone to read every tweet.
When first joining do not follow hundreds of people, doing this may mark you as a bot.

A free way is to follow all their followers, some will follow you back, and then they may see what you tweet.

Analyze the person's previous tweets and see what they were saying to the followers. Then try to say something similar; obviously they know how to approach their readers and sounding like the Twitter account owner is likely to get better response.

Then craft an offer that inspires the reader to click through. As mentioned, a free ebook, script or offer could be what inspires them to click through. Just be sure it's themed to the previous posts.

A Twitter account that is about childcare is not likely to get any click throughs if your offer is about SEO.
