How Do I Create The Right Twitter Handle

I am a Solar contractor looking to break into twitter.I feel that solar is truly interactive because there is a void and lack of information combined with gravitational curiosity that needs to be filled. I am trying to create a twitter account for my company. ABestEnergyPower has too many letters-it only get ABestEnergyPowe, ABestEnergySola is also not working. My goal in my twitter will be purely to engage people with questions, provide useful links, mention people and articles. Should my twitter name be my company or should it be something more creative like "YNotSolar" which is already available?

    Naturally branding is very important and if you absolutely have to have your brand name as your twitter handle then you could abbreviate some words. Otherwise I think (personally) that its acceptable to have something different but that still relates to your product (like what you mentioned already).

    On another note, if your goal is to get the discussion going about solar, your company name really does not evoke the thought of solar. If I saw it on twitter I would think it’s a power company but I wouldn’t necessarily think solar right away.

    Instead of getting your company name, why don't you also go for the keywords that reflect what you're trying to fill the gap of. Like "SolarGuy""SolarContractor"etc.

    Perhaps you can use google's key word finder, place your site in there and see what terms people are searching for within the content of your web site, then you can just add a clever twist to it... That may Work!

    if you cant fit your name in then you cant i think your content will be far more important like linking to pictures of your latest installs, some good testimonials how much electricity your customers have said and how much they have received from the feed in tariff and how much they sold back to the grid, talk about the green deal maybe offer more products like voltage optimisation or immersun for generating free hot water etc. Thats what i do
