Hi warriors,

I figured there was no better place than here to ask for feedback. We run a self-serve ad platform, Qadabra. It's been receiving amazing reviews and feedback all over the web. However, we've opened our Facebook page and are looking to increase our community by the thousands.
We're not quite there yet so we started a Facebook photo competition yesterday and I wanted to hear your thoughts, suggestions, etc.

  • Use comics and offer people incentives to like, share your fan page.
  • The idea is really great, but why not using an app for that? Because it's against FB rules to run a competition where likes decide who's going to win or lose... Here is where it's mentioned: Facebook (E. Promotions) They can easily remove even your FB page

    Why don't you run a contest with a promotion app? There are several on the market offering a photo contest too - try Antavo or Woobox! This way it will look more pro too...

    • I have been thinking about running a contest for my fan page as well. Supposedly they work very well to build up your customer base. Please update this thread when you've had some results. Thank you.
