Seriously need to buy some facebook likes for my local business

Seriously I have read about all the reasons NOT to buy facebook likes. But for a local business facebook page I think this is different. When a potential customer goes to your facebook page and sees 2 likes you just lost the potential business. I know buying likes is not gonna increase my organic rankings and I dont care bout this.

Where is the best place to buy some facebook likes that is somewhat reputable????????????????

Why buy them, when you can get them for free?.... I understand, it does look not creditable not to have social media interactions.. No sweat, you can get them quick and easy..

    Cheers,

The only people who make the "when a visitor goes to your page and sees XXX likes" argument are people who A dont know what there doing on Facebook or B sell likes. Ever notice that all the people saying not to buy likes are the ones who actually do well with Facebook?

Here Ill prove my point to you, check out this page:

After you check it out tell me if you get my point?

    Hey Troy,

    Here are my two cents,

Dont buy them. They are useless and in most cases they will "unlike" your page as fast as they liked it.... mostly because those users get banned or eliminated from facebook.

Here is what you can do:

    1. If your city has a chamber of commerce, and they have a facebook page, ask them to help you out and publish your facebook page link on their wall...
    2. Do the same with any other Small Business association you are registered in.
    3. Print out some flyers or handouts announcing your new facebook page... and give them to your current customers... you can even ask them to help you out and start posting reviews about your business.
    4. Look for facebook pages that target your city... and contact them. Ask them to post your facebook page url on their wall to help you out, or you can even offer to pay them something for the post... (5 - 10€ per post MAX).

At the start, ask your friends to like your page. and have them ask their friends... this will usually give you a coupe hundred likes in no time.

    Hope this helps!

going the "white hat" route on this one seems totally lame to me. Google is not imo going to penalize your for fake fb likes. Facebook may remove them but who cares. I just need 200 or so to make potential customers see me as an established business and not as a wanna be. My website looks good. I rank number one for all my local keywords. I just need some likes. Dont care who, what or where just not bots and just a legitimate service that supplies these. Any ideas. I am willing to spend the money but seems like no one provides this service.

How many friends do you have on your personal FB page? Are you telling me they can't be cajoled (face to face) into liking your business?

Don't be spammy. Limit your offers and pitches, but don't be shy about making solid offers to your group. Don't forget that they are they ones to whom you owe any success.

Post some fun stuff. Have you done a nightmare project recently? Take a before and after picture. Show some pride in your work. And give the rest of your customers a little something more than they were expecting, take your customer service to the next level... and then casually mention that you're on FB and trying to get people who know you to acknowledge your business.

200 likes seems pretty easy to accomplish if you're at all serious about your business. I mean, I don't know what your business is, but let's say it's computer repair. You get the soccer mom in with some weird little issue that you might just fix for free, or for ten bucks. Mention that the service is free, but a like on FB would mean a lot to you. If you run a restaurant, I'd be pouring free coffee... if you promise to like me on FB. Be friendly and personable, and offer a friendly deal like that. People will be like, "Ok. I don't mind promoting him, he's pretty cool." People are social. Treat it like a social experience, and people will go along with it. BUT treat it like marketing, and watch people get turned off real fast!

Local business. That means network marketing. That means people who know people around you helping you out because you help them.

I believe you can do it as simple as that.

        Don't do it.

I did it and I mostly got Asian 'likers', which looks weird for a UK business. I did ask for UK/US ones.

And if they don't unlike you, they will most probably spam you.

        That's my experience.

      I just LOVE this comment....

So you are running a "legitimate business" and you find that doing things in a proper fashion is "lame"...

Also, if you are ranking number 1 for many local keywords plus you have a website that can convert visitors into sales/customers.....then why are you having a problem getting "likes" on facebook? It would not matter if you are a 10 year old company or a 1 week old company, if people are buying your products/services then it means people like your business and as such, it should be almost TOO easy to get likes.

In terms on getting even a few likes to make it look as if there is some traffic to your fanpage, why not ask your family, friends, co-workers, etc etc....most people are more than willing to help you out with a like here and there if they like you as a person let alone know you could use some help with your business. Plus those likes are completely free...There are a hundred other ways to get likes that actually add value to your business and your fanpage....and many of those methods are written out in this forum if you use the search feature.

If you need to purchase "likes", tweets, pluses, follows etc etc, then it usually means that your business or product is not something people actually like...it is a very simple system.

Buy ads. You allegedly run a business. Spend $20 on Facebook Ads and you'll get plenty of "Likes." This ain't rocket science.

If you're willing to 'spend the money' spend it with advertising.

BTW...all sold Likes are robots. You really think you're going to get 1,000 'real people' for $5?

Buying FB ads to create Likes is totally white hat and hardly lame. And the best part is (if you target properly) the people that Like you may in fact become a customer at some point. And, that's what you are ultimately after, right?

You say you are willing to spend money, then spend it on FB ads and do the job properly. Just like buying links, buying FB likes provides crap.

Why don't you offer a promotion to encourage people to like you on fb? Like a chance to win a product or a discount if they like the page and share the promotional post? I've got 600 likes since the weekend this way.

You can of course! buy Facebook likes through Facebook Ads... but you have to make sure you are setting your targeted audience correctly so that your money is worth it!. I have 3 fan pages... I did the same way. But again... I made sure my targeted audience is set up correctly! Good luck!

What is your Business? Do clients come to your place of business? Marketing your facebook page is critical too. Set up a QR Code system if you can get your clients to tag it.. and link it directly to your facebook like link.. Good luck

Here is the trick to get atleast 2 facebook likes a day. Try to update your page status atleast 3 times a day by saying Greetings like "good morning", "good evening" with arrtactive cute pictures relevant to your page.

Interaction is the most important thing. If you have't notice some pages have thousands of likings yet there are a few people who are active on the page. The reason is you first need to see how can you make your page more attractive.

If you have a blog or website try to connect it with your facebook page. Create relevant pictures using photoshop or paint for instance. On Mother's Day you can create a beautiful pictrures, If you have a logo then its a plus point attach that logo with any mother'day quote and upload that picture on your page. If you become active on page then for sure you will get more likings.

Helping local businesses build up their page through Facebook ads is totally cool and it flat our works. First of all, if someone local "likes" their page then that amounts to a hot lead and how much did that lead cost? Not much! Secondly there are a ton of upsells to be made once you've proven this works and works like crazy. This said, just getting the like and then not following up with an immediate great and irresistible offer would be a total waste. Help you customers think like Groupon here to just get them in your place of business (or calling you), there is magic in that if they know how to sell at all. Find a competing or very similar business on Groupon or Living Social that you can show them and how they made thousands to convince them to make a similar offer, one proven to convert. It only take about $100 or so to get a 1000 hot leads to a page. Charge them like $500 which includes that ad spend, under promise and over deliver and you are in for life!

Here's my little scenario and imagination

a.) ME will buy 10,000 likes
b.) WOW I got 10,000 likes on my page!
c.) ME post an image or status
    d.) Why 2 likes only with 10,000 fans ?
e.) Potential Customer: How come 10,000 fans and only 2-3 likes per post? hmmm...

    Scenario w/o buying likes
    but Using Facebook Ads.

a.) ME using paid FB ads --> Targeting Potential Customers located in my area (using Power Editor Custom Audience and Lookalike Audience)
    b.) Me getting 1,000 likes
c.) Potential Customers: "OMG, this is my interest and this is what I need."
