That is a great idea. Yes people really do go for games like this. They see it and then want to post the word that they see first and will often share. Or they can see in the sidebar that their friends commented on the status and then they may be likely to as well. Great idea.

Hey there,

Yes, I think images like these would definitely gain lots of traffic for your site, since people like to participate in challenges. This is a good technique to draw traffic. It would be even better if you have a site dedicated to things like these. That way, you could place a link to your website and ask people to visit your site for more challenges, or something like that.

Thanks for the share. I'm surprised to see how many people don't see ways to monetize this !!!

Marketing work when it's done strategically. If your audience are fans bought on Fiverr, fake profiles and else, I don't see any way to monetize this (besides raising your fanbase and your Edgerank), but if you got great fan pages already targeting the proper audience, you can redirect the traffic to a proper match.

Any image that involves interaction works the same way... for example, images that tell you to find a certain item in the picture, any type of puzzles, etc.

Really, I think the idea w/ social media: YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter...anything...is to continually change the content on your site. And little changes, even like uploaded images will pull visitors back to see what has been changed.
