From Jobless To $70,000 A Year

So I am new to this forum and I don't know if I'm in the right bit.

I was looking around online trying to find a way that I could earn money without 'Working Properly'

I come across The Million Dollar Homepage and I decided I wanted to create something like that but something completely different (if that makes sense)

I Play Your App | Own A Piece Of Internet History And Play Some Of Our Apps website launched two days later and will be starting on the 17th March (my Birthday)

I have racked up over 41,000 twitter followers and more than 100,000 website hit.

I would just like to know your thoughts and how I could get some kind of media coverage for it!

Thank You

  • "I am, currently very happy as I have quit my job to carry on with this full time."

    Not a wise move.
  • So how is that $70,000 a year?
    • [ 2 ] Thanks

    • It could be just an assumption figures for the upcoming success
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • according to matt cutts always include images for good seo. Now where is the epicfail.com site?
  • So what do you think of it?

    • Wrong move, Go back to your job.

You only quit your job to spend time on what you have tested, proven to work and need to scale further up...
  • Pretty Clever idea.. Not to shabby, you really need to incorporate some roll over snippets into the images.. so people can get a better understanding of the apps in a snap shot view.
  • You didn't mention your earning .you just assume ?
  • iLA
    Level 9 App

join both of those and add them in a special section to the right and mention how people can make money to share them. If your site takes off, you will make a LOT of money from them. Trust me on that.
  • you can do a press release. Look around for some of the best press release sites or you can checkout sbwire.com
  • Who thinks it worth carrying on and who thinks I should just end it now?
    • [2] replies
    • That is your choice, don't let anyone else make that decision for you.
    • If you believe in it, then it's worth it. As for my opinion on it... well I've already stated what you should do. I do some things in the mobile industry and make a very decent income from it. You need to have something that will be long-term and create residual income. Would you rather something pay $10.00 here and there, or something that will pay you $1.00 a month for rest of your life. If you have to think about that, then I have nothing else to input and good luck in your future.
  • 70,000 dollars or rupees?

  • Its all going very well atm. Just an update
  • So this whole post was.....just to get a few more hits on your site? (which isn't even working, btw).

I miss the old WF days when posts were actually meaningful.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • I know. This is something funky for the first year to get started and I would like to go with this full time
  • First, your title got me to click and read the thread, but I could not find mention of how you made the $70,000.

So I guess you are trying to positively attract that amount this year by thinking about it and writing it on this forum.

Anyway, I think your website can get that attention through press releases. You can do a press release through PR-web or any other good press release service. That will get you some short term attention. But big brand never stop putting them selves in the news.so you might have to keep on doing it often .You just have to create some news for your site often and send it out. To do this would be expensive, but there are some pr sites where you just pay a subscription and send out press releases as often as you want. Places such as PRBuzz.com Press Release Distribution and Press Release Distribution, Public Relations Services | SBWire may be some cheaper, yet same quality alternatives.

You may also submit articles to article directories such as ezinearticles, www.softerdreams.com free article directory , articlebase and places such as squidoo and hubpages

On the sidenote, how have you gained 100,000 hits to the site. I think if you can repeat that process, you already have what it takes to get traffic to your site.

    I
  • Thank you for that. That has helped
  • I believe TS want introduce warriors about his website and gave a very attractive Title.

    • Well , You want to achieve 70 K per year.. without any plan?

Just having the website will not help you .. nor just having the twitter followers.. Think of.. how you are going to monitise.. whether u will go with paid traffic or free traffic... how u will monetise them etc....

Without a plan of action in place, nothing can be achieved..
  • Thats not always true and I do have a plan in place
  • So basically you are that Tshirt guy but for apps

He made good money and hired others so good luck.

    • 41,000 twitter followers but only 7 facebook likes? Seems legit
  • I'm known by half of london on the party scene! I'm an ex club promote so thats why I have a lot of followers
    • [1] reply
    • So.... why aren't most of your followers from London if that's where the account is being promoted at?

Also, why do you keep circumventing everyone's questions above me?
  • something weird dude...
  • me thinks he's using this forum to get attention to his site.
  • In my opinion, this guy should be truly removed from here! If you are truly earning that money, you wouldn't brag here like a child!
  • From 0 to $70,000 per year gives me so much motivation!!

I love it. I one day would love to come back and tell my testimonial.

    Great job.
