Like Button? Please help!

If I make a post on my page and somebody clicks that they like that particular post, do they become a fan? Or do I have to ask them to click the LIKE button in the top right hand corner to become a fan?

    People don't automatically like a page just by viewing a post on it, they will actually have to click to like it.

      You could always set up a Facebook Post that is attached to a 'Like-gate'. So if they click through the post they would be brought to an 'Offer' page that they will have to 'Like' your Facebook page to be able to get the Offer.

      You could build your own 'Like-gate' (custom programming) or you could use services out there to build a 'Like-gate'.

      Some services allow you to create custom tabs (with a 'Like-gate') on your Facebook page:

      Some allow you to create a stand alone web page (with a 'Like-gate') that you can email out or post to your Facebook wall:
