FB Ads to Squeeze Page

Hey there!

I've just finished working on my funnel squeeze page... it should be ready to harvest quality subscribers like crazy.

I want to test it with FB ads traffic... but I've a question.
I've done fb ads in the past but only to promote fan pages, which can be very cheap, I built a 5000+ fan page with about $40 in the past..

I heard that if you try to link a website outside facebook, they will be very picky to approve your ads... and also it would be more expensive.

Those of you who have done this before.. how to do it right?

The other option is to build a fan page, spend another $40 to get 5000+fans and then advertise my funnel squeeze page there but I guess that won't be a good option... also I've heard that you can add the optin to the fan page.. but I really want to take advantage of the nice funnel pages I just created.

Any help is really appreciated!

Tried it. Crappy idea. ( But then again it depends on what you're offering)

Basically, I've set up an Fb AD for a capture page, ( I was doing PPI rather than PPC).

Long story short, got 11 leads, spent over 100$...

      Crappy idea, or crappy copy/offer?

I guess I'll have to try... Fb ads direct linking to my squeeze page...

After tens of ads where I tried to link to a squeeze page I decided to go for the custom page inside my fanpage. The conversions were awful.

They asked that I have a privacy policy and terms of use on the site (which btw I had)...
The thing is that now I see ads that link directly to a squeeze page and those aren't much different from what i had.

Also, they were mentioning something about income claims which again, I didn't make any, but one of the recent ads was saying "How I can make x $ /month"

Yeah, facebook employees suck big time.

(and another story: I received recently an e-mail where they were saying that I'm running some "bad" ads, which I find impossible to understand since they were the ones that approved all of them)

The offer was pretty good. It was a capture page when you have to optin in order to see training vids. I wasn't trying to sell anything.

The reason this idea is balls is simply because of the price. FB rates are way too friggin high.

Last time i checked , even a simple PPC AD for untargeted visitors costs minimum of 1$ per click. (if it's outside FB) It's really for guys with deep pockets. So spending this kind of money just to get ppl to your squeeze page simply ain't worth it

Oh, and their costumer service blows too...

Not sure what your target market is but in my opinion $1 per click is a bit high. If you optimize your ad and specify the interests your target market have in the ad, I am sure you can get you ppc rate lower than $1. You just have to switch and test out various components of your ad until you get it optimized for the best performance. Hope this helps.

$1 per lead isn't a large amount to pay, especially if you're dropping people down a tight sales funnel and then get to email them continually afterwards.

Even better if you've done some background work and the only people that are getting to see those ads are the most likely type of person that would buy your solutions anyway.

Then there's free option like going around forums, sharing some value and then dropping a link like this casually as you leave - http://www.facebook.com/maditech/app_211233055583545 - Come grab your early access pass to my upcoming training videos, you even get to have me teach you exactly what I just recommended, how to research and identify your ideal target customer before you decide to optin

Facebook ads to promote an outside squeeze page is hard mountain to climb. As mentioned, easier to get emails from within a fan page (and much cheaper), and just promote the fan page within facebook.

In my experience Facebook landing pages work better than directing people off of Facebook. You have to keep in mind that people who click on Facebook ads are not really looking for your services when they click. There on Facebook doing something else, so the click is really an impulse. Taking them off of Facebook is often a shock that makes them click the back button right away.

To create a landing tab / squeeze page tab on your Fanpage you can try this software:

I just can't get my ad approved (linking to a site outside of fb).

I'm using a megan fox picture (decent one), and very light wording:
      Something like:

      Read my method.
Want to succeed with girls? Grab my method here.

I've tried many wording options.. and I keep getting it disapproved...

      Any ideas?
