Help with Joining Group

Hello people
Hoping some more experienced Facebookers might be able to help.

Ive created a Fan Page and wish to join more groups. I have joined a few but have tonnes that I cant join as there is no "join group" box. They are Open Groups and active. Can anybody enlighten me on how to join them. They say anybody is welcome to post etc. but no join box and no posting box lol.

    Are you trying to join from your fan page?

    You can only join groups via a personal page if this is the case.

    You are not allowed to join groups, add people, communicate with persons, etc. like you would do with a personal account if you use FB as a Fan Page... Switch back or make a personal account and you will be able!

      Ahhh I see. I did see that I could join from my personal profile but obviously wanted my Fan Page details to come up when I posted? I kinda wanted to post as my Fan Page so I could grow the likes. Any help would be much appreciated.
