Business Facebook Page vs. Personal Facebook Page

Am new to using Facebook as a marketing tool for my blog. What would be some pros and cons of using a business page versus a personal page?

Pretty big topic to be explaining inside a forum post..

The quick answer. People buy from people they like, if all you intend to do is promote your business without letting people really get to know who you are, then you will miss out on sales.

    Use both!

How would you do that though if you had one link to FB on your blog? You would have to have two icons for FB: one for personal, the other for business.

Send them to your business page. Then add them as a friend and connect with them via your personal page.

    yes put 2 icons
or put the account that you use the most
anyway both of them are related to your account
but if it is for marketing purposes

Personal page adds psychological effect to any customer,no one wants to talk to a robot or machine, it adds a personal touch, also donot make direct sales pitches, try to communicate and add value -its all about shake hand --mutual give and take.

Think that a personal page may offer more interaction with people that like your blog or content. But don't know the exact differences between the features of personal vs. business pages.

It depend what your blog about .

If your blog is for company business or personal business then the best is with a business fan page.

If the blog where you usually get use to talk personal stuff, affiliate and deal with people one on one , then you can go for the personal fan page.

Business Fan Page usually more formal and if you are trying to sell product by your own , the best is go with business fan page which more tools and apps for you to promote your business.
