For First : Set Your Goals

It's important that you set goals and understand what you want to achieve from your social media marketing efforts.

Here are some of the main ways you can use social media to have a big impact on your business:

Spread the Word. Show customers and prospects who you are and what you can do for them. It’s great for brand awareness!

Drive Sales. Give customers offers that are so good they’ll share them with their friends. Your promotions can go viral!

Provide Great Customer Service. Listen and respond to what your customers are saying about you and to you. It’s a wonderful feedback loop!

Keep Your Customers Coming Back. Build deeper relationships so customers will get to know, like, and trust you more.

Because social media is all about discovering and sharing cool stuff, every interaction you have through social media has the potential to reach many new people.

What we need to do first when we wanted to establish a social media campaign is to first have a solid target of what we wanted to achieve. Create your goal and from that think of ways on how you could reach people with the same interest and everything will follow.

You can create something new, unique and interesting ideas that can attract visitors and also generates buzz so that those visitors can spread it to their friends via social network. You can go for writing up new contents, put up some contest, give away few freebies mentioning your company's brand name as watermark in those free items.
And also follow Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Pinterest etc

      1. Well-formatted quality content on your site
      2. Every trick you can think of to increase authority (gravatar, author bio, tailored contact/404/privacy/sitemap pages)
      3. Put social share buttons alongside each post, as well as at the top of the sidebar.
      4. Make a list of the top blogs in your niche. Start commenting on them, with your username linked back to your site.
      5. Rinse and repeat till things take off (and assuming your content is good, they will take off). Then you can refine.

Strategy is actually my approach to the product I promote. First what I do is create Facebook Fan Page around the product, add nice, eye catchy timeline picture and then create iFrame tab with opt-in form and like first button.
If I decide to promote it trough fb PPC/CPM I activate my fb target ID software, browse the groups/pages within same niche, grab members ID and save it int csv file.
Start my new add campaign and link it to iframe ap of my page.
Point is that my ad will rotate and be visible ONLY to members I gather ID and those members are sure interested in that niche (was already in the same groups/pages).
        This is regarding Facebook.
On Twitter I will post on regular basis, 3 times a day by 2-3 post and not every time include link. Sometimes post only valuable info.
Most of the time I use only fb and twitter so stick with in and do some action to get result!

When starting social media marketing- Do not just spit out information or status updates on your social media accounts that are linked to your main website. Be careful when constructing your posts, because informative posts can result to better engagement with your followers. You can even gain more followers which can be your potential customers if you follow this marketing strategy.

That would be awesome.
