How can I automatically post on Twitter?

I know many ways, but they seem tedious. Such as Hootsuite, you can make a excel document and import it to auto tweet, but I want something simpler. I want it to auto tweet pictures as well.

Any suggestions? What tools do you use?

  • Eternal,

Aside from a script that automatically draws in snippets of content and links from the web and automatically tweets them for you, programs like Hootsuite are about as easy as it gets. Most of the time if you get too automated or appear to be a spammer, Twitter shuts down your account anyway.

I know you can automatically post blog posts to twitter via feedburner,

Make sure to check out bufferapp.com.

Easily add great articles, pictures and videos to your Buffer and choose when to send. So simple to use. Analytics are excellent also.

HootSuite and tweet adder are definitely one of my favorite tools around. These software are amazing with incredible features. HootSuite gives you features like posting on certain day or at certain time which is pretty awesome.

I am using TwitterFeed, Buffer, Tweet Old Post Plugin for automating my blog tweets though I suggest to use those tools moderately as real tweeps will be annoyed seeing tweets every minute from you.

For some reason I've never used Buffer. Not sure why. I mainly use Hoot Suite to handle Twitter. I'll give Buffer a try though.

I have used several other automatic posting services. Hootsuite is the best one I have found. It is free. You can add other services on it for a fee. I use the free service, and it works great. Here is that link: Social Media Management Dashboard - HootSuite.

You do need to do some work setting up your postings, but it doesn't take as much effort as posting as you go through the day. You can re-use your postings too. I hope this helps you.
