    Hey satio,

Yeah, you should NEVER be stealing images from other websites. That's a huge no no. I would suggest looking for royalty free, no-cost images. There are quite a few resources out there. You could always take screenshots or pictures yourself and use those.

So yeah - you've done a bad thing. Just using google images and taking other people's images and using it ANYWHERE is a horrible idea.

I suggest you IMMEDIATELY switch those out.

It's called copyright infringement - just don't do it

You're doing it illegally. Google images (mostly) have copyrights. Therefore you can't just download any images from google and just upload it in your own interest. Someone might screw you up.

Try using Flickr CC search.Go to advanced search and select the CC license ou want to search the images with. This might help. Google has a similar option if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, remove the images you have already used, as it's copyright infringement and you could be easily reported for doing that.

Downloading & uploading someone else's pics are a no no... but sharing them and giving credit (in the form of a source link) as to point ppl back to the site where you got it from it perfectly fine & legal... only stipulation is if someone asks you to remove it, you'll need to do so. have a blast!!!

Ummm... and in which law did you read that you could just take any image you want and add it to your website as long as you link back to the original?

It's really quite frightening that so many people apparently not only believe this, but are even willing to pass it on to others as "advice".

If you want to reduce your chances of ending up in court, Jay, you should be carefully and attentively reading all the threads in this forum (and/or in others) in which countless people who imagined that to be true explain how that belief cost them thousands of dollars in expenses/costs/compensation.

The best way to use pic in your website or FaceBook fan page, is to download image from free image stock. Make sure to change the name of the image. It is quite safe.

Not all of this is actually all the way true.

If you modify an image so much its technically not the same image and you can get away with it. This is why people use memes

Also, there are many sites that will allow you to sue their images under creative commons or by simply adding a link back or some kind of attribution.

You should always be careful in copying and posting pictures. There is no problem if you want to copy the picture as long as you are not posting it online. If you like a photo it is better if you copy the theme and take a picture yourself to prevent you from problems,
