Weird Facebook Ads ban

Hello.

I am going to share what i think it was a weird ban form facebook advertising.

Since i was not experienced with doing facebook advertising maybe it was not so weird ....

Some years ago, i did some small facebook advertising, but it was for such a short period, with also a low investment, that i did not even remembered that i had done it.

Some weeks ago, i bought and studied a facebook advertising course, and decided to give facebook ads a second try.

I then discovered that i had a $0.48 Usd debt, from my first experience. Before creating my new ads, i paid my debt.

Before i added two new payments methods. Credit card, and paypal.

After, i created two new ads. One for advertising a fan page, and the other for direct linking to a sales page of a muscle building ebook.

While waiting for the aproval of the ads, i received two emails from facebook, stating that "has been irregular login activity on your account", "We have investigated your account and believe it has been compromised.", and also "As a result of this suspicious activity, we have disabled your payments functionality in an effort to protect you as well as our other users"

I changed my facebook password, received one email "yor ad was aproved", than the second email "your was not aproved", and at last email:


"Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled due to suspected fraudulent activity. In the interest of protecting our users, we will not be able to reenable your payments account. This decision is final."

I already replied several times, to this last email asking what hapened, but never received an answer.

Was this weird?

What can i do to continue advertising in Facebook?

    This might have to do with the FB glitch of last week where people from all over the world (but not all) were finding it impossible to connect to their facebook pages. The problem persisted for the entire week and was only resolved on Monday.

    Could that be it? Try submitting your ads again.

    It's most likely completely automated emails you're getting. Have you been able to actually get in touch with anyone from FaceBook yet?

    This is what it says for me.


    When I contacted them they said:
    Hi Emil,

    Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled due to suspected fraudulent activity. In the interest of protecting our users, we will not be able to reenable your payments account. This decision is final.

    You need to keep trying to get that account back. Also you need to make sure all the payment information matches up.

    CC and Paypal have the same address as your you are GEO IPd to on Facebook.

    Just send 2-3 emails a day, and you should get it back.

    Get Facebook's attention. Show them proof your official statement or invoice that you are already cleared with your debt and explain to them that you were not aware of this as you did not receive any notification for any debt until you applied for FB ads again.

    Got the below email, from facebook ads,

    Facebook is committed to presenting ads to our users that are useful and non-intrusive, and we are continually working to increase the relevance of ads. Our goal is to provide the highest quality user experience. We reserve the right to reject any advertising that we deem contrary to these objectives. Similarly, we reserve the right to close an account creating ads contrary to these objectives.

    For this reason, if any of your ads have been removed or your ad account has been disabled, we will be unable to reactivate either. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please consider this decision final.
