Anyone time standalone facebook tab app?

I want to run a competition, get more likes and get people signing up to our autoresponder

I want something where im not paying monthly

It exists on my server not theirs

    Your going to have a super hard time finding something that exists on your server. Besides that its normally a bad idea to have a FB app on your own server. First that means you need a SSL certificate, and not a chepo free one FB doesnt accept that (so around $100-$500 depending) then your going to need hosting just for the app (unless you expect the app to only get a few hits a day) so thats about $30 a month, finally your stuck doing all the updates. Facebook changes there API about every 2-3 months a Facebook app has to be constantly updated. So your would have to do that (are you a programmer?)

      Ive had many apps created before. Its easy and for me a lot cheaper than paying a service

    You can use namecheap SSL for $8/yr, that is what I use and it works fine. The $100 or more for SSL is completely false and misleading.

    I am not sure why the hesitation and why the importance on keeping it on your servers. there are lots of good contest apps out there that are either free or charge minimal cost.

    I'd love to hear your thoughts esp. about keeping it on your servers. I can probably help you better with more insight from you.
