Turning a YouTube Audience of 75,000+ Subscribers into Revenue

For about seven years now, I have been a regular YouTube content creator. I record, edit and upload five videos every week and have managed to collect over 75,000 subscribers. Between getting paid through my partner network and promoting affiliate services such as Audible and Amazon, I'm making enough to pay rent and enjoy what I am doing.

However, I'm looking to take things to the next level -- hopefully in a significant way. I know my way around social media and how to build websites. Needless to say, I practically live online.

So my question to you: Where do I go next? How do I take advantage of these numbers and make it big? I have the time and dedication required. It's just a push in the right direction that I am looking for.

I primarily create technology related content, but upload the occasional vlog.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Wow! Awesome numbers David! Congratulations on being consistent and loyal to your audience. You are likely the envy of a few self-proclaimed high wire video marketers around here, let me tell you!

Anywho, you have subs that see every video you post, so I would look to market an auto-repsonder course via a CTA in your videos. How about something like "The 7 keys to building a massive Youtube audience for profit." Your audience would have to sign up for this free eBook or Video series, but once you have a big list, the world is your cash register. You can market all kinds of products to those loyal subscribers by sending out recommendations, interviews, free trials etc...

Add your CTA to every video you upload from now on, and go back and add annotations to other popular videos of yours, directing them to another video describing your offer and providing a link.

This way you will retain your Youtube income, while building an email list that will potentially make your adsense income look like chump change.

    Hi david,

Just maintain the quality of your content - The next level would be branding yourself with the media. =)

Thank you for the info, guys! I really appreciate it. I'll continue to create content and hopefully explore new marketing techniques.

Speaking of video content, are there any good affiliate products that sell well on YouTube? I've had pretty good success with Audible and am looking to expand a bit.

I think you have to look at your subscribers and see what type of people they are.
Send some poll type questions, and get feedbacks to what they really crave for.
Why do they subscribe to you? what is it that keeps them back to your site videos?
Keep peeling the layers of what they truely want, and you'll find the product/offer
    to send them!

Good job and keep it up!

I'll hopefully steer you in the right direction: The trick is not only (not even merely) to grow your level of subscribers, but to grow your placements and rankings in Youtube and Google search engines.

Create your own site and promote it in your YouTube videos by putting the direct link to your site at the start of each video and also mentioning it in the video itself

Whatever niche you are in create a membership website for your subscribers. A lot of YouTubers have been doing this lately and it can be super lucrative. Say you with 75,000 subs create a membership site at $15 a month. 10% of your subs join 7,500 x 15 = $112,500 a month. Of course this is very optimistic but you get my drift.

Wow, it felt odd to see this thread come back from the dead. I'm happy to report that I now have 105,000+ subscribers and still putting out five videos every week. Thanks again for your kind words, everyone!
