Is There A Limit To The Number Of Like A FanPage Can Have

Hello,

I have a quick question regarding Facebook fanpages, something in the back of my mind tells me that when you create a new Facebook Fanpage if you don't chose "website" there is a cap to the number of like that page can have, am I right to say that or am I just dreaming it?

Please let me know if you for certain.

    Why should there be a limit?
    Look at the most liked facebook pages, they have millions of likes and can get even more.
    "coca cola" or similar pages.

    It's everyone's right to like any fan page of their interest, so there isn't any limit to likes of a page, and there won't be any limit.

    The limit on likes is to the user, not the page. A user can "only" make 5000 friends and 5000 likes.

    You can only have 5000 friends but you can have unlimited likes on a fan page. A lot of people make the mistake of adding everyone to their friends list only to hit the limit later.

    Keep your Facebook profile personal for friends and family and create a fan page for your public presence.
