When will Vine truly explode?

We are seeing the next Instagram truly explode, and even IG isn't used enough for marketing. Let's get creative people, what is the future of Vine?

    Probably never. It's a watered down video hosting service. Here is my analysis on it:

      I don't know what's in store for Vine, but I remember when Twitter started out I didn't think it would last. It seemed like a watered down Facebook. A social network with nothing but status updates. Then it blew up.

      I wouldn't count Vine out. There's something people like about certain kinds limitations. They simplify things and stimulate creativity. Vine seems to have tapped into the kind of limitation people enjoy.

    IMO, Vine will really take off once videos can be created on more platforms, especially Windows, instead of just Ipad/Iphone, as it is now.

    It already is "taking off". As big as instagram? There's definitely debate on whether it will ever get that big. But there are already methods to utilize vine for effective marketing and to increase sales...

    I think it is going to at least be on the same level as instagram. For branding some people don't want to watch a long youtube video, but a quick cool little teaser will help. From word of mouth and what I can see on the ground it is already extremely popular amongst the 15-30 demographic.

      How can they monetize it? Or have they already? I haven't actually used it, but my little sister loves it.

    I think Vine will adapt, and teens love it, as someone already pointed out above 15-30 year olds, it's nice and lets you save without uploading immediately- big deal.

    PearBuzz- you might want to break up your text, when you have huge chunks like that people don't want to read it, it's too busy on the eyes.

    Personally I think vine will be short lives. As someone mentioned above, InstGram is much bigger than Vine, and is not being used enough for marketing. Last week, Instagram's new update now allows users to post videos up to 15 seconds long. I believe with the user base Instagram has (over 100 million users each month) they will last longer than vine.
