Anyone here tried to take advantage of these forums for linking to blogs or to promote CPA offers? Been thinking about my next idea for eBay or CL for days now and can't decide what to do.

First was leaning towards Bizopp offers then possible posting in the fitness forums about health tips/meal ideas and maybe dropping in an offer at the bottom to not look so spammy (eg. "None of the above would have been possible without Raspberry Ketone!" or "I Had a Secret Weapon and This is the Exact Product I Used")

Had great luck selling stuff on CL over the years but never tried CPA.

Search google for "coupon forum" + <niche keyword> you will find lot depending on the niche.

Of course, you can't spam forums that are hyper active.

    Thanks.

Would be interested in your Craigslist experience? I have only really taken a look once or twice but I see it has huge potential.

    • I have tried it for one niche but somehow people were not reading the ad at all and I was bombarded with people wanting me to care for their children, parents, animals. lol it was sad and funny at same time.

Gosh, I used to do Craig's List a long while back! In fact, you've just reminded me. I think I'll take a browse over there and see what I can do with CL this time around.

the people who post in the craigslists forum sections are in my opinion technically savvy (the system is so crappy that it would take someone intelligent just to figure out how to post) so spamming these people is not going to be effective.

I used to use the CL forums to drive traffic to my site. I don't know if that lead to any sales, but it was cool for traffic.

I'm not sure why you would limit yourself. You can post in multiple sections/cities and on multiple forums at the same time. Find out what gets a response and continue.

Use different email addresses and hidemyass for different ip addys.
Don't post in the FREE section..people flag you fast there.
    Don't post directly to a cpa..use a blog post.
Try to sound like a real person..you get better results than when you use graphics (in many niches)

Community posts get the most generic of traffic and might be the best place to start if you have to use just one category.

    Good luck!

I never intended on only one city or section but it is tough getting around the ghosting furthermore I never know which section to use. Besides the forums you have...

Idea: Post in the sporting goods section for weight loss pills since people are looking for equipment to exercise? (Yes I realize this is severe spam and against TOS)

Idea: Post in the beauty services section for skincare/weightloss since women are often in that area.

Idea: Bizopp obviously in the job search sections

Idea: The general community section for just about anything!

Thank you 4 advising me to post in general community for my certain niche offer. looking forward to see what happens now. I did it in Finance last time and had a conversion. Going to try it in community now,

EDIT; Done! Finally got the 2 major cities, NY and LA. No more for the day, don't want to run into a block

Does anyone know the method by which CL tracks IP's? What I mean is if I post outside of my city or state does it see that the IP I used to create the account was in one state but the area I am posting in is another? Or am I just over thinking it and they just look for unique IP's on each post and if not it is ghosted as spam?

Are we talking about the classified or the community section?
I have browsed around the Community and I think it's too complicated, easier to place an ad on classified.
