I want to create a fanpage for a video game, do I create it under the categories website/games or community? thanks

    IMHO shouldn't matter. It's going to be available for Facebook graph search anyway.

    Having said that - I'd put it under games as it's more specific to your "cause"

    Valtex I'm actually mostly in the video game niche when it comes to fanpages.

    (Created and Grew Several of Pages)

    Personally for me I prefer making a community page and name it for example, "Xbox One" Fans.

    People sometimes thinks it's the official page and that usually get you more likes.

        IMHO..I second making it a community page and giving it a meaningful name that describes the content or niche of the page.

        To add, I would also recommend a branded header with good images & messaging that represents your niche, content, etc. well. Make a few good posts and add good info to make sure its ready to market.
