Facebook Ads, help me out ?

Hello,

I'm new to FB ads, i have made about 4-6 ads, each with a $5 lifetime budget and have gotten tips to make the ads as vague as possible, i've experimented many different things (i'm advertising my Photography Facebook Page) and can't seem to get all that many likes comes through.

Here's a screen shot/report:

Could anyone help me with why i don't seem to get many likes from these? ads? I want to have 2,000+ likes on my page in four weeks, how can i achieve this with a budget of $250 spending in total ?

I'd appreciate anyone help! ?

-Jacob

You need to tell people what to do: such as "click like to ... bla bla bla" . you actually need that call to action. Actually tell people to click the like button.

Try telling them to press the like button. People are probably clicking on the ad and going to your page, looking around and then leaving, without ever liking it.

You are better off doing "Page post ads" which go out on the newsfeed instead of right side ads.

Create a post on your Facebook Fanpage with a nice image that you've clicked. (Image posts are the best - biggest real estate and catches attention of consumers)

Promote the post as an ad

Placement: Make sure the placement is restricted to "Newsfeed (Desktop and Mobile)"

Pricing: Ive had best results with oCPM, you may choose something based on your budget though.

I've just created an ad (on the weekend) had an appealing landscape image, title was 'PHOTOGRAPHY' and in the description "Like if you LOVE photography!" on the weekend, i was getting a total of 130 likes for $15 (each day) CPC of 12-17c on sat and sunday, then monday hit and i only got 60 likes for $15, should i pause everything and wait till friday and spend twice per day so ($15 on friday, $30 on sat and $30 on sun) ?

When getting likes for Facebook pages, I like to use CPC instead of CPM. It gives you more control over what you spend.

I have been running an ad for my FB page for 9 days and so far I have only spent $94 for 16,000 likes. Just be careful how you set up your ad. My daily budget is $10.
Also be careful to set your overall budget to "unlimited" otherwise the ad will get paused.
