Monetize Facebook Likes?

I've been advertising quite a bit on Facebook, but have been sending the traffic directly to my Brasilian site SuperStylerBR | A Melhor Prancha Alisadora do Brasil. I find that tons of girls are interested but skeptical - which is natural - so I was thinking of advertising to my Facebook page to help build credibility and then sell them from the Facebook page.

I'm sure many of you have tried this. Does it work? Have you found any particular keys to successfully converting 'likes' to money?

Thanks in advance for sharing your insights.

Tenho certeza que muitos de vocês já tentou isso. Será que isso funciona? Você encontrou todas as chaves particulares para converter com sucesso 'likes' para o dinheiro?

Agradecemos antecipadamente a compartilhar seus insights.

In my experience if you build a relationship with potential customers they are much more likely to convert. It also helps to give them free tips, advice, etc. If you post useful content that gets engagement then throw in the occasional offer you should do well, if you spam them with ads 3x a day I dont think you will do nearly as well.

It will take time but what has worked for me (in a very specific niche) was to advertise very cheaply in Argentina through FB ads to increase my Fan Page followers and then -by engaging with the audience- managed to convert some "fans" into my emailing list which means I have better control on how I interact with them.

What you need to remember is that "normally" the process takes some time so you may want to consider using other methods to promote you page

Finally, If you use "sponsored" ads, you'll get more exposure every time you post something that you want to be seen by as many followers as possible.

However, in my opinion I would use sponsor ads once I get to around 10,000 followers.

I hope that helps and good luck mate

My view has always been that facebook users generally visit your site to look and not actually spend. If you think I am wrong, let me ask you. "Have you ever gone to facebook with your credit card in hand to purchase something?" I can tell you I have never done this and highly doubt other people have done this as well. It takes a lot of work to convince those visitors / likes to be converted to money due to that number one fact. Facebook is more of a social medium. You visit to catch up on old times not to cash out of your wallet. It's great for traffic but not so much for gaining an active income. Just my 2cents
