Pinterest suspended my account. Now what?

I woke up today and checked pinterest only to see that my account had been suspended for violating the tos. This is my personal account: no bots, no automation not even 1 single affiliate link. Of course, no details were given as to why I got suspended, other than 'violation of tos'.

Pinterest doesn't really explain what happens when your account gets suspended. Can I unsuspend it somehow? Or does that happen automatically after a certain period of time?

Or is my account lost for good? Anybody had any experience with this?

I think to get back your pinterest account, you should contact to the pinterest team or you can also follow the steps which may help you.
    Request reactivation

    1. Click Email Help at the bottom of this page

    2. Under "What do you need help with?", select Login & Registration -> Reactivate Account

    3. Include "Reactivate" in the subject and body of your message
    4. Give us your username (if you know it) and any email addresses you might have used on your account
    5. When you receive the first email from us, reply to it (a simple "I still need help" will do) and we'll send your email to a Pinterest help agent

    or
You can visit on below address to get our account back.

Hope this may help you to get back your account.

I'm not banned, i'm suspended. Don't think I pinned something I shouldn't have. And I only pin things on the pinterest site, not outside. So everything i pinned was already on pinterest.com. This is my personal account. I only use it to keep lists of things I like to do or buy.

That's very strange! I hope they reactivate your account.

Welcome to the club my friend - Pinterest is like the wild west: they just do whatever they want. I've personally seen accounts with successful group board disappear overnight - never to be returned. They also block websites as well and basically do whatever they want. I think that the only way not get banned is by having an account with boards full of images of cute kittens...

Pinterest are acting really freaky these days, there customer support seems very non existent... I sent off countless emails and got no replies over 2 months.

Good luck getting your account back.

They don't ban you they always deactivate your account..
First time they deactivated my account saying some contributor pinner posted pin that violates their term or was not allowed to share by owner.
Upon request i got my account back..
The second time they deactivated , i thought they would again activate my account giving warning, this time they did not activated, and my account was lost for ever..
Reason was contributors were pinning spam on my group boards which i owned

Having said that, good luck with your account, if it is regarding group boards then you will be in some trouble otherwise they usually activate your account

That's crazy... board owners can't be responsible for keeping an eye on every single pin that contributors pin, or know who will post spam and who won't.
