How to get those first few fans?

Hey Warriors.
I just started Internet Marketing and have created a Facebook page so i can direct people to my squeeze page and create a list (so on so forth). I have acquired around 60 likes so far from AddMeFast, but I was wondering how i get my first few active likes? I was going to run an ad, but wanted to wait until i have a few more fans before that. Is there some way i can promote myself to active people? My page is in the bodybuilding/mens health niche.

    Start hanging out at a gym and talking to people while you work out. You can't buy a community, you have to build it.

    Write some good blogposts and share them on your page. Post some good pictures. (A cheap shot that works to post pictures of attractive, fit women. Don't overdo this, though.)

    Most simply, create a stream of content that you'd enjoy recieving as a bodybuilder/health enthusiast. Create it even without any fans around. They will come. You'll have to be patient. The better the content you create, the more likely it is that it would be shared, and the more likely it is that others will Like it.

    Oh, it's important that your Page is "Live" and has a steady, regular stream of good content. I'd hesitate to Like a Page that seems to be dead.

      A very good comment. I agree with that to attract more followers your page should be very dynamic with constant fresh contents, images and videos to share

    Join to several related facebook groups. In top right corner click on "build audience", then click share page, then simply type in names of those groups and click share. This will automatically share your fan page on this groups walls.

    Be active as much as possible. Posting and commenting to other sites, always update your blog with genuine, fresh, useful, and interesting content. You can even post news relating to your product or that gives people reasons why your product is important. When you join discussions, make sure to give them useful comments and when they see you really got something, you can talk to them about reciprocal linking.

    Before you start your advertisement, please increase your Facebook Fans until certain amount first so your page will be look reputable. In a mean time, you need to have interesting content on your Facebook page as well.

    Quality has always been the best option when doing anything.

    I don't know how addmefast works but I have more result, sales and income from setting up a blog or site integrated with my social network buttons and rank it for my chosen keywords.

    Lots of users will like your page daily.

    And for faster result, if you can make a monthly budget and start advertising your fan page through FB it's going to be very nice.

    "Like" common niche pages. And keep actively commenting on those pages. Be attractive and nice when you share comments on those pages. Attraction marketing really works! Make your fanpage a party! keep track of your "Insight" reports so you know what your fans are looking for.

    To get first few fans you can invite your Facebook friends to like your page. Doing so you can get active fans and the fans which you got from addmefast are fake. To get potential fans run Facebook ad campaign.

    I would invite friends from my personal page to join. Their friends will usually see an update in their newsfeed that shows that they like your page and then some of them might like it as well. The cycle will continue.
