Facebook ad not performing consistently.

Hi all

Recently I've been playing around with Facebook ads and found a way to get good cost-per-like and cost-per-mile prices with respectable click-through-rates. One of my early ads got me 490+ likes for £2.00, so I copied the ad 5 times and received over 3,000 likes in 2 days.

One of the copied ads got me 1100+ likes, but another only got 154. I'm wondering if there's any way to stop this inconsistency with adverts (and also would like to know why it occurs) that are exactly the same. Here's a screenshot of a handful of my finished ads:

I also want to know if there's any way I can squeeze more juice out of the ads with any known techniques? I found this thread that has a couple of guys getting 1k+ likes for $1.00 (£1.56), which owns my performance.

N.B. All the adverts are identical in every way.

Cheers!

You are still on very good track with face book ads. Your costs are low comparing with the fans you are getting.

The difference could be in the demongraphics or if the demographics were the same then it is possible that the same people saw the same add which resulted in a lower result.

Your ad reach is different for each campaign. Are you sure all your ads are exactly the same? Could be because you've already taken the majority of the ad reach with previous ad... If you want to expand maybe try increasing ad reach through alternative methods such as different keywords.

i was thinking the same thing James said if you have the ads separated out by age or something like that. It may be the cause of the differences
