Sharing blog posts for clients

Good morning Warriors,

My team and I are trying to find new, effective ways to share the content that our clients are creating, particularly blog posts.

We have a client that writes tons of content, and sharing it throughout his company's social networks (Facebook, Google+, Twitter etc.) hasn't done what we want it to do, that is acquire more traffic and online pickup of content for natural link building.

Where would you be sharing your client's blog posts if they produced a bunch of them? I feel like social sharing sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit etc. are somewhat useless for gaining natural links and social shares.

Basically, what things can I do with my client's blog posts besides sharing them on top social networks?

Thoughts and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks peeps!

Do you have control of the social sites for your clients? Dumping a whole load of links on Facebook and Twitter is doomed from the start. You need to communicate with a few people to get the ball rolling of retweets and shares etc.

In Facebook try going to a few similar pages/groups and sharing the link to not only the blog post but the clients Facebook page. Should give you both a Like and a possible share.

I do have control of my clients' social media logins. I think I need to get engaged and start following others in similar industries. Def not local competitors, but there's nothing wrong with friending/circling/following others in relevant industries.

Nah, you need to know your competition - take some tips from them also......

Definitely start engaging and communicating with the clients social following. If you are more active followers are likely to check the social profile and find the links that way as opposed to them coming up in their feeds.

I have clients that do really great with social media. You should just not post, you should engage with fans, networks and connections alot. Make a post that will ask questions related to your niche.

Use social media tracking tools as well to track what's going on. I only use facebook, twitter and youtube, sometimes linkedin for my clients.

Others are okay but not really matters. Look for active groups on linkedin and facebook. Share your ideas and content there.

And don't forget to update yourself with latest social media trends on how to use them effectively for marketing, it changes all the time bro.

    Goodluck with your client.
