Free/low-cost facebook apps for contests?
I want to run a contest to name a mascot on facebook.
I want to have people submit entries and then I take the 10 best ones and have people vote on them or something similar.
I'm having trouble finding an app that will do this. I saw someone use a photo caption contest type app, however I have 15,000 fans on the facebook page and a lot of these apps are ridiculously expensive. I saw one from Offerpop which looked good but it's $400 for that many fans. While I do make some money off my fans it's not worth $400 by a longshot. It is unclear how much money this would generate for me but promotions in the past usually generate between $30-50.
I'd be willing to pay around $30 but would prefer free.
