Bringing traffic to a new page can always be a hard task. If you're not getting 20-30 fans within the first few days then you are doing something wrong. It really depends on what niche you are in as to where you should be getting your fans from.

Unfortunately purchasing likes from sites like fiverr etc are most likely fake numbers that provide no benefit. Your best bet is to stick with one page that you really have a passion in and provide great comments on similar niches as your page ( not your profile) without promoting yourself directly. For the beginning stages you just want to establish your pages theme and create character. I know the importance of targeted traffic and SEO but sometimes you can look past it and provide really insightful comments that actually help people. Quality of content in regard to how someone can learn something or get a sense friendship can be highly beneficial.

My current methods of obtaining fans are to offer alternative skills in regards to free promotions from bigger pages. For example I would make a blog or site for a huge page in return for regular shares. In the end of the day you can always message larger fb pages and ask for a month of advertising but be sure to discuss all this via emails as fb terms don't allow this.

Im looking to manage some pages for around 100 a month, adding content at peak times, finding other groups, and pages to like. Generally for small business's, nothing to special. Basically Id be your offsite page manager. Adding different content, funny, informative, promotional, good story. So this way the audience doesn't feel intruded. Its kind of what Ive noticed works best for the motorcycle shop I work at. Start to get some regular posters, and people who like the status's. Got a few people who share the status's. From facebook you can get good traffic. You need to regularly post in your fanpage and develop good friends in your network, and keep engage your fans with regular posts,events which will increase your fans and in turn more likes.
